                         UPCOMING UNIVERSITY VIRTUAL FAIRS
UBC – VIRTUAL EVENTS
If you can’t wait until October 20th to hear UBC’s official presentation for some of the Richmond schools,
then you can sign up for one of their student events. You will hear about undergraduate life inside and
outside of the classroom at both the Point Grey and Okanagan campuses. You’ll learn about academic
programs, admission requirements, and the application process. All of the planned events are listed here
on their website. First you will need to create a UBC student portal account if you haven’t already got
one. Go to Future Student Portal Account you should be able to register within 48 hours of creating your new
UBC account. NOTE: if you attend one of these sessions, they are open to all BC students. More details to
come regarding the Oct 20th session.

SEPTEMEBER 28- OCTOBER 8/2020 CUE (CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES EVENT)
CUE brings together over 50 of Canada’s best post-secondary institutions and showcases them over two
weeks between September and October. They are committed to helping students find the perfect fit in
Canadian post-secondary education. Its an exciting time to start exploring. Whether you are confident in
your future career path or are looking to develop skills to be successful in a variety of different jobs –
equipping yourself with information is the best way to make a decision that is right for you.
Chat with university representatives from all across Canada. All of the Live Events will feature
representatives from participating universities ready to answer questions, provide information and get
connected. Just like individual universities, each live event will look a little bit different! Check out the
descriptions on the live event page to find out more on what to expect.

SATURDAY, SEPT 19 – SATURDAY, DEC 5/2020 National Portfolio Days at KPU
TIME: 9:00AM – 1PM
The Wilson School of Design is thrilled to be hosting a virtual booth for the entire NPDA (National Portfolio
Day Association) season of events! The association will be hosting 16 events with over 90+ schools in
attendance from across North America and several from Europe. If you know any students that are
interested in pursuing a post-secondary education in Arts or Design, we recommend registering for the
event. Students have a unique opportunity for a one-on-one portfolio review and to receive feedback on

We're opening our digital doors to future students and their families on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, for our
annual Open House! Join us online to learn about our world-class faculties and services, chat with faculty
members, current students, and staff members. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about
admission requirements and explore campus in a virtual 360 live guided campus tour.

This fall, BCIT is hosting Big Info on Zoom over three nights. Join from the comfort of your home
to explore multiple areas of study, learn more about what it’s like to study at BCIT, and find a
program that’s right for you. Each night will cover specific industry sectors as well as key student
service areas. While the event may look a little different, you’ll still be able to hear from faculty
and staff, and get all your questions answered without leaving the couch!

Applying to university is an important decision- let us support you and your students in the application
process! We are waiving our application fee for students who register for our upcoming Virtual Open
House (a savings of $65.00 CAD).

Post-Secondary BC (PSBS) provides students and parents in BC with information about options in BC
public post-secondary education. For over 40 years, this program has co-ordinated fall visits to high
schools but with COVID all events will be hosted virtually. This is your chance to get to know what
30 post-secondary BC schools have to offer. Get all the information you need—from admissions and
programs, to deadlines, financial aid and housing—to take the next steps forward. You can participate
on the day the fair is live. OR after each live fair event registered participants can then come back
into the online Fair platform to view pre-recorded presentations and download resources posted
by participating institutions. Once you complete the registration form and set your own password,
it will be good for the rest of the year while the Virtual Fair platform is online. REGISTER HERE:

Interested in engineering or architecture? You and your family are invited to join us on Saturday,
November 7. Connect with professors, staff and students to explore everything UBC Engineering and the
School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture has to offer. The event will be virtual this year, but
you'll still get to see inside their labs, learn about our programs, go on virtual tours, and talk to advisors,
