The PGM Writes...
We are now some 11 weeks into lockdown and
the suspension of our Masonic activities. The
beautiful sunny weather also seems to be
suspended, so I have taken the opportunity to
stay indoors and write up another report on
what has been happening across our Province
since my previous letter in April.

Donation to City Harvest WLMC & London Mark in action

Danish Chocolate Gateau
Hello Brethren all and welcome to recipe of the month (no not that one, this one). This is a new
feature we are going to run in every issue of the London Mallet.
So, we’ll start off with something simple.
This recipe came to me from my Grandmother on a barely readable scrap of paper. When
my Grandfather passed away around 1970 my Grandmother was befriended by a Swiss

neighbour whom we knew very well. The recipe came from him hence, perhaps, the name.
Give it a go. It really is very good, especially if you’re in training to become the next
strongest man in the world, as it contains around 3 million calories!
Feedback is more than welcome, good, bad, or indifferent. Photos as well, please, so if you
muck it up we can all have a good laugh at your expense!!
