I am an experienced kayaker. Can I go on excursions by myself?
The Antarctic environment presents special challenges. In the interest of safety, the sea
kayaking program operates only as a group activity guided by an experienced Kayak Master
and supported by a safety Zodiac. Independent excursions are not possible.

I would like to try out kayaking but only once or twice. Can I do it?
Kayaking in Antarctica requires fitted equipment and special preparation. The group program
offers progressive skill development that can only take place with participation in the full
program. For these reasons, it is not possible to try kayak only once or twice. Participants can
opt out of an excursion (to spend more time at a landing site, for example) if they wish.

Kayaking in Antarctica
Important notice
The description of the activities in our promotional material and in this document is based on past experiences and is intended as an example only.
We plan the adventure activity in remote locations, where the environmental conditions are changeable and unpredictable. Each expedition is
different. For this reason we cannot guarantee that the experience will take place as described or that it will take place at any specific location in
Antarctica. With safety in mind, we will strive to offer you as many excursions as the weather and sea conditions will allow. If we are unable to
provide you with any excursion due to weather and sea conditions, or other reasons, we will refund in full the money you paid for the activity. If we
are able to provide you with at least one excursion, no refund, partial or otherwise, of the money you paid for the activity will be made to you.

To take part in the kayaking program you must be able to communicate in English, and you must listen to and follow the instructions of the Kayak
Master. If you do not understand the instructions, you must inform the Kayak Master right away. Participation is offered to the individual
purchasing the excursion and is non-transferable.

For any reason whatsoever, the Kayak Master can deny or interrupt your participation in the kayaking program. If your participation in the program
is denied, Antarctica21 will refund the money you paid for the activity without further obligation to you. Like with all sporting activities, when
kayaking there is potential risk of personal injury. This risk is exacerbated by the fact that you will be kayaking in extreme conditions. In signing up
for the activity you accept this element of risk. You are required to have medical and travel insurance. Prior to taking part in the activity, you must
sign the Release of Liability form, expressly assuming the risks associated with the kayaking program and releasing Antarctica21 and its
representatives from liability and waiving all claims. You will not be permitted to participate in the kayaking program unless you sign this form.

                                                                                                                                     Visit antarctica21.com
