Take The Bog Road through Connemara’s wilderness to the fishing village of
Roundstone. Visit the Emigrants Commemorative Centre, Carna.

From Roundstone travel the road by the edge of the Atlantic Ocean to the
Signature Discovery Points – Alcock & Brown - the first transatlantic landing site in
1919 & The Marconi Transatlantic Transmission Station 1907 site.
Walk the Coral Strand at Dun Loughan – a nature reserve & hidden gem.
Lunch at the Old Station House and Shopping in Clifden – the Capital of Connemara.
Drive the Sky Road to enjoy the most spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
On the way back to Galway, stop at Maam Cross and view The Quiet Man Bridge &
Cottage featured in The Quiet Man Movie.
