The biggest concern for Palapanis will be finding a
way to stop the goals after the Sharks conceded seven

The departure of Liam McGing has come at the worst
time for Sutherland but they will need to make do
against a Mt Druitt attack which has found success this
season.
The Rangers come into the contest without a win in
their last three matches.
Defence will be again the big question mark
surrounding Aidan Desmond’s side who have
conceded eight goals in two of their past three
contests.

Sharks 0 at WIN Stadium
Wollongong Wolves are on the precipice of

Two goals in each half was enough to secure

Despite both sides seeing solid opportunities

Scott turned provider early in the second half

with a 69th minute screamer.

Marconi Stallions 4 – Mt Druitt Town
Rangers 2 at Marconi Stadium
Marconi Stallions have kept their finals hopes
alive with a 4-2 win against Mt Druitt Town

                   VALE KEITH SCHUMANN
It is with great sadness that we pass on our condolences
to the family of former Shark’s player Keith Schumann who
passed away last Monday after a long illness. Keith was an
integral part of the highly successful Sutherland teams in
the late 70’s and early 80’s. He was an uncompromising
and talented central defender who was selected by Rudi
Guttendorf in an Australian X1 to play a Polish side in
1979. Keith was a Miranda Magpies junior who became a
representative player at 16 and had ambition only to play
for the Sutherland Sharks despite offers from NSL and
state league clubs.
He had a magnetic personality, lived life to the fullest and
looked adversity in the eye. His memory will live on for all
who knew him.
