JLM Preschool follows the Richland School District
for holidays and school breaks.
STEAM

encourage development,
exploration, and application of
learning concepts. We use a
holistic approach that also
brings literature and writing into
this process.
Character Development
Bible stories as well as other materials are used to teach character and
moral lessons such as friendship, kindness, and honesty.
1st grade readiness
Jesus Loves Me Kindergarten uses Washington State Standards
to ensure your child will be ready and well prepared for 1st
grade whether you choose a local school district or a private
school after Kindergarten. We use thorough Writing, Reading,
Math and Science curriculum developed by teachers that
have used it with much success. While teachers are continually
evaluating the material, teaching and student understanding,
formal evaluations are done 3 times a year with report cards.
Parent conferences happen at least once and more as
needed or requested.

ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
2021-22
A Registration and Materials fee of $100 for each child is due with the registration form is
non-refundable.
Kindergarten Monthly Tuition Fee: $500/month
• Monthly tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month beginning with October. Tuition for
September may be made on the first day of school. The program operates completely on tuition fees.
Therefore, it is essential that your payments be paid promptly and regularly. Non-payment for preschool
services and/or lack of adherence to our tuition policies may result in the dismissal of your child(ren) from
the program. A $20 late fee will be assessed with any payments made after the 10th of the month unless
prior arrangements have been made. Payments can be mailed to Richland Baptist Church (1632 George
Washington Way Richland, WA 99354), brought to the director’s office or made online at
www.richlandbaptistchurch.org/giving/jlm-preschool.html. Checks should be made out to Richland
Baptist Church (with JLMP, and your child’s name written in the memo). There will be a $25 processing fee
for any checks returned with insufficient funds. No tuition credit is given for holidays, or absences due to
illness, vacation, inclement weather or pandemic constraints.
• Late Pick-Up Charge: The office will bill parents/guardians $5 when children are picked up after
2:30 and $5 for each additional 5 minutes late.
• Classes start in September and run through May. Please refer to your Jesus Loves Me
Preschool Calendar for any holiday information or school breaks. If Richland School District is canceled or
has a delay due to inclement weather, Jesus Loves Me Preschool will be canceled. If a cancellation
occurs, there will be no make up days or tuition credits.
Behavior Agreement
To help all students have a wonderful experience at JLM Preschool we will operate with 3 basic rules:
BE KIND: With our words and with our bodies (No hurtful words, no hitting, kicking, and not being willfully
disobedient to the teacher)
BE SAFE: With our bodies (no hitting, hurting, or being physically unsafe in an activity)
BE NEAT: With the equipment, materials and supplies. (no being willfully destructive)
Students will be expected to follow these three rules. Students who disobey the rules despite efforts of
redirection will not be allowed to continue at JLM Preschool.
• We reserve the right, as circumstances may arise, to discharge a child from our program. You will be
consulted before such action is taken.
It is the intention of JLMP & K to operate under these dates, terms, and
conditions. Adjustments may need to be made in the case of emergencies
such as the Covid-19 pandemic. We reserve the right to change the dates,
terms, and conditions if such a case occurs.
