     1925 by the Fairhaven family. During the second World War the Stud was leased to
     the Aga Khan, who stood a number of stallions. Other stallions to stand at Barton

     BARTON STUD welcomes seasonal and permanent boarders and is happy to
     accommodate mares walking-in to stallions based in the Newmarket and Thetford

      Brief history of the Stud:
      Cheveley Park Stud was bought by Mr and Mrs Thompson in 1975,
      since which time it has undergone an extensive renovation programme
      to bring it up to be one of the most modern and respected studs in
      England. In 1986 Sandwich Stud was purchased as a private facility,
      where most of the Thompson’s yearlings are accommodated and also
      where the yearlings for public auction are prepared. In 1997, a further
      expansion of the Stud took place with the purchase of Warren Hill and
      Ashley Heath Studs, where horses such as PEBBLES, CARROLL HOUSE

     Brief History: Galloway Stud Farm was set up by Stuart and Carmen Thom in
     2016. They provide a first-class service to all clients, where every owner and
     horse is treated as an individual.
     Originally set up in the secluded countryside Hamlet of Chrishall Grange, due to
     demand and expansion of the business have now relocated to the historic
     Woburn Estate, former home of the highly successful Bloomsbury Stud. With
     superb facilities, and beautiful surroundings plus a wealth of experience you can
     be assured they will get the very best out of horses boarding at the stud.
     Facilities include:
     Foaling unit with CCTV
     Range of internal stables
     6 all-weather turn out barns
     Fully equipped vet room with stocks
     190 acres of post and railed established parkland pasture with excellent shelter.

     We specialise in foaling, walking out mares to stallions, all major sales preparation
     and racehorse rest and recuperation.

     drive heading up to the Abbey just off Park Street.
