Waterbeach School is lucky to have Jane Rogers as our Early Intervention
Family Worker. She supports families from all walks of life with a range of
parenting issues. Throughout lockdown, Jane has been sharing regular
suggestions of achievable activities to families over the term and I have
compiled them into this directory for easy reference. If you need inspiration on
stuff to do in the holidays (or are at your wits end!), check out some of the
ideas on here. We have also compiled the Parent’s Tips she sent out on
common issues such as anxiety, arguments and playing with your children. See
the Directory of Parenting Tips 2020 for these.

We are looking forward to welcoming all the children back to school in
                                September!

                                Best wishes,
                    Mrs Tregoing, Inclusion and Wellbeing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8myYyMg1fFE&t=436s

You can search for your own, just type in: sounds of the jungle/river/raindrops etc

Find a quiet moment, and ask your children to get comfortable, close their eyes and listen.
Ask them to think about what they can hear / see / smell / feel and let the sounds play.

When they open their eyes, get them to describe the
experience to you (you do it too)
Alternatively, let the sounds play and draw pictures of the
scene you are hearing.
