Day 3. National Park of Perinet – Ankanin’ny nofy Early breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the National Park gate. Accompanied with local guides of the park, we leave going hiking in the forest in the discovery of the Park of Perinet. It is in this forest that we meet the Indri-indri, the biggest of lemurs. Many more species are spreaded in the site, such as the grey bamboo lemur (Hapalémur Griseus), the Avahi (Avahi Laniger) etc.... The flora of this park is really interesting. We find several varieties of healing plants there. Following the "Ravinala road“ to the east and few kilometrers of tracks, we arrive to the village of Manambato, to the shore of Rasoabe lake. Lunch in the hotel Acacias. We ride to Ankanin'ny nofy by boat on Canal des Pangalanes. Arrival at the end of afternoon. After setting in the bungalows, and after dark we take a motor boat to reach Akoholahy island for strangest enconter ever : The Aye-aye. Dinner and overnight at Palmarium Hotel.
