            March 2021- COVID-19 Update – Vaccines
The vaccine rollout will continue to be in a
phased roll out to make sure that there is
enough supply and that folks who are most at
risk get the vaccine first. We are currently in
            Phase 1B.3 which includes:

                  and agriculture
                  People 16-59 with 2 or more high-risk
                  conditions

Starting March 20, Phase 1B.4 will include:

            not vaccinated.

Please remember, until the vaccine is widely available, please continue to wear
a mask in public, maintain at least six feet of distance from others, avoid
gatherings, wash hands often, and stay home when we are sick.

            Vehicle Registration Enforcement Resumes
            April 1
Familiarize yourselves with your street sweeping day and sign up for
sweeping reminders at www.pocketgov.com to avoid a $50 ticket for
parking in a tow away zone. Street sweeping keeps dirt and debris out of
our air and water and prevents flooding caused by clogged storm sewer
                 inlets.
Denver’s paving season is expected to start March 22, weather
permitting. Temporary no parking signs will be placed on streets to be
paved at least 24 hours in advance of crews arriving.
                 Vehicle Registration Enforcement Resumes April
1 in Denver. The DMV will be resuming timely
processing of requests for new, standard (green and
white) license plates by the end of March, clearing
                 its backlog of work.

            Remote Meeting Ordinance Survey
With the passage of 2F in November, Councilwoman
Sawyer is leading an effort to formalize Denver’s
remote meetings ordinance. Please share your
thoughts about how the city might make changes,
balancing the need for accessibility, staff safety and
the potential to work remotely in an emergency
            situation here.

Opt-In Single Use Restaurant Items Survey
Overwhelmed by ketchup packets and plastic forks from take-out
and delivery? It is estimated that since the beginning of the
pandemic consumption of single-use plastic has risen by 250-
300%! Councilwoman Black is working on a proposal that would
require restaurants and third-party delivery apps (like DoorDash)
to ask customers if they would like single-use items such as
cutlery or condiments, instead of just including these items in the
order. Please take this short survey to answer questions
about single-use items and your take-out/delivery orders.

Eviction Defense Right to Counsel Survey
One of every four Coloradans are facing eviction
right now and there are thousands of impending
evictions that are only compounding under an
eviction moratorium that will expire on March 31.
Councilwoman CdeBaca is exploring ways to avoid
evictions. The purpose of this survey is to obtain a comprehensive
understanding of the issues, concerns and experiences of renters and
            landlords.
