May 2020 Election
Rachel Baggett Gilliam is a previous MMDC board member who has seen firsthand the
commitment and perseverance that is needed to lead this organization.
As a second-generation Realtor®, proud Memphian, and leader in her community, she is a
driven professional with undeniable passion to support our industry. In 2018, she was
inducted into the Crye-Leike Circle of Excellence and has also earned Life membership to
MMDC and is a 2019 graduate of Leadership MAAR. Rachel has served on the CRS
committee, RPAC, YPN (2019 President), and is a current Bartlett station commissioner for the
City of Bartlett. Rachel believes that everything happens for a reason and that her expansive
leadership experience has prepared her to be the next President-Elect for MMDC.
Abbey Garner Miesse, true Memphian, was raised by Karen Garner of Magnolia Homes.
Before graduating from U of M, Abbey earned her real estate license and at 25, started her
own firm, Abbey and Associates Realty. She has been selling for over 24 years. After running
a successful real estate company for ten years, she is currently with Oak Grove Realty, LLC.
Abbey’s husband, Mark Miesse (Memphis Title) and three children attend Hope Church and
support CURE, philanthropy. Abbey is a Broker, ABR, GRI, SRES, New Home Specialist, and
Life Time Member MMDC. She served 2016-2019 on the MMDC Board. She has been Co-
Chairman for 3 MMDC Holiday Parties!

Nancy Huddleston is a Luxury Property Specialist with Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury. She is
starting her eleventh year in real estate, and it is her passion. She is an ABR, GRI, and CRS
designate, and in 2018, was inducted into the International President Circle, and the
International Diamond Society in 2019. Nancy has placed in the Top 15 of her company
since 2017. She served on the MMDC Board of Governors from 2015-2017, the Board of
Directors of Leadership Collierville from 2018 to the present and is a graduate of
Leadership MAAR. In addition, she is a member of the TN Home Builders Association. She
lives in Piperton, TN with her husband, daughter, and five pets. They attend Incarnation
Catholic Church.
Thomas Byrd is a native Memphian and alumnus of Whitehaven High School. He earned a
BS in Human Resources from the University of Memphis and an MBA with a concentration in
Management from Dowling College in New York. Thomas served 14 years in the US Navy
Reserves as a Petty Officer. He started his real estate career after grad school and a buyout
program from FedEx in 2003. Since then, Mr. Byrd has worked in the residential market,
licensed in both TN & MS, and is Current Broker/Owner of Byrd Realty Services. He is a Life
Member of MAAR’s Multi Million Dollar Club. He served on the MAAR Board of Directors in
2014-2015 and has served as NAREB President Memphis Chapter and Regional Vice
President.
May 2020 Election
Ashley Onsby is a seasoned agent with MidSouth Residential in Bartlett, TN. She obtained her
real estate license in August of 2007--making this her 13th year as a Realtor®. Ashley has a
business degree in management information systems from the University of Memphis. She
has also completed multiple real estate classes and obtained numerous designations over the
years. Some designations to include Seller Representative Specialist, Accredited Buyer's
Representative, ePro, and Military Relocation Professional. Ashley is also a Lifetime member
of the Multi Million Dollar Club, a 5-star Zillow agent and has won Memphis Best Realtor®
multiple years. Ashley loves helping and serving others in her business and personal life. She is
extremely involved in her community and children’s school system as PTA President.
Lana Fowler is a Life Member of the Multi Million Dollar Club and the Broker/Owner of Fowler
Realty, Inc. As a former Two-Year Director of the Multi Million Dollar Club, Lana has the
knowledge and experience needed to represent the organization in the best manner
possible. Lana has served in various roles at MAAR over her 21-year career in real estate and
currently serves on the Grievance Committee. Lana enjoys playing tennis, CrossFit and
spending time with her family. Vote for Lana to ensure that our organization continues to be
run in the manner that our members expect. She will work hard to bring value to the Multi
Million Dollar Club.
Jason Miller has been a member of MAAR for over six years. He is currently a broker with eXp
Realty, who recently awarded him the company’s Icon Award for production. Jason is a fourth
-year member of the Multi Million Dollar Club and is currently serving as a Third Year Director
on the Board of Governors. Jason is a member of NAREB and the Women’s Council of
REALTORS®. He is a contributor to RPAC and has participated in The Day on the Hill. While
Jason’s specialty is Residential real estate, he also has a working knowledge with small
commercial, multi-family and land.
Heather Durham joined Keller Williams Realty in 2016. Previously, she was in the mortgage
lending industry for 25 years and brought her extensive experience and expertise to help-
ing her clients through the process of buying and selling their most expensive asset.
Heather has been a member of MMDC since her first full calendar year as an agent, has
earned her ABR, GRI, SRS, CRS, RENE, and is currently a member of the Course Monitoring
Committee at MAAR.
Heather has volunteered at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, was a community mem-
ber of the Institutional Review Board at St. Jude, and is currently a volunteer at Southern
Reigns Equine Therapy for the disabled.
May 2020 Election
Leslie Zarshenas has been a member of MAAR since getting her license in 2013. She is a third
year Multi Million Dollar recipient and has received Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club
award for the last 4 years. Leslie has achieved the ABR, RENE and GRI designations and is
currently serving on both the RPAC and Benevolent Fund committees. She volunteers with St
Vincent De Paul Society serving the needy. If Leslie had to choose an area of expertise in real
estate, it would be working with first time home buyers. She loves seeing someone start on
the journey to home ownership and really loves when her clients come back to her for their

Vicki began her career with Crye-Leike in 2004. She is currently in the Forest Hill Office. She
became a member of the Crye-Leike Multimillion Dollar Club in 2005 and lifetime member in
2008. She is also a graduate of the Ninja Selling Institute.
Vicki is a 4th year member of MMDC and the current BOG Recording Secretary. She is a
Graduate of Leadership MAAR and has served on numerous MAAR committees, including
Ambassadors, Course Monitor, PR/Community, and Member Services. Vicki’s designations
include Relocation Specialist, Residential Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist, Social Media
(Network) Specialist, and New Construction. Active in the community too, Vicki has served on
Great Hall, Education, Recreation, Beautification Commissions and is a member of Republican
Women.
Amanda Lee began her journey into real estate with Keller Williams in 2013. While also
working as an admissions counselor for Baptist College of Health Sciences, she sold 16 units
her first year and was recognized as the Rookie of the Year at Keller Williams. The following
year, she solidified her status when she was named a Keller Williams Rising Star selling 25
units. In 2016, Amanda entered real estate full-time. That same year, she was inducted into the
MMDC and has received the award every year since. When she isn’t helping clients find their
dream home, you can find her spending time raising their three young children, ages 1, 2 and
4 years old.
Ryan Arthur has been a Realtor® for eight years with Magnolia Homes and a Certified New
Home Sales Professional (CSP) through the NAHB. He enjoys working with fellow agents and
helping their clients find or build their dream homes. He has learned through the years that
you can achieve your dreams by helping others achieve theirs.
Outside of real estate, Ryan spends his time with family and church. He is active in the
Memphis Emmaus Community, having served on their Board of Directors for 3 years and then
later as Chairman for a 2-year term.
Everyone has a first time to be involved with MAAR, and Ryan hopes this is his opportunity to
get involved with the association.
May 2020 Election
Recently recognized as one of the ‘Top 100 Most Influential Memphians of 2020’, Channing
Shaw-Wright enjoys showing and selling Memphis as an Affiliate Broker at My Town
Properties Memphis. Channing started her career in real estate in 2009 in New York City and
has been licensed to sell in Tennessee since 2015 -completing 3 years as a member of the
Multi Million Dollar Club.
Channing is a graduate of The University of Memphis, cum laude, with a degree in business
economics. She is active in the community and enjoys mentoring college students and giving
back through volunteering. In her spare time, she loves traveling, shopping and spending
time with her husband and her son. Channing is dedicated to serving and selling Memphis.
Matt Morgan has been a REALTOR® with Crye-Leike since 2014 and now serves as the
Managing Broker for Crye-Leike Collierville. He currently serves on MAAR’s Governmental
Affairs and Grievance Committees and worked 3 years on MAAR’s Realtor Political Action
Committee—serving as Chair in 2018. Matt, his wife (Ash), and two beautiful, energetic little
girls (Lucy & London) live in Collierville with their Boston Terrier (Louie). In Collierville, Matt
serves on the Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Collierville Board of Directors, and is the
current President for the Collierville Arts Council. Matt is so grateful for the opportunity to
serve as 3rd Year Director of the Multi Million Dollar Club. In this moment, Matt urges you to
wash your hands and spread positivity!
Melvin was raised in Little Rock, AR but has lived in Memphis for 15 years. He attended the
University of Memphis, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and earned his
TN Teachers certification. After several years of teaching, Melvin decided in 2016 it was time
for a change that would allow him to still foster relationships and guide people toward their
goals. As a Realtor®, he has assisted clients in the buying and selling process from all over the
Greater Memphis Area. Melvin is a 2nd year member of Multi Million Dollar Club. He stays
involved in the Memphis community as a New Memphis Fellows Alum and volunteer with STS
Enterprises and Feed Memphis through The Life Church.
Tracy is a Realtor® with RE/MAX Experts where she works with buyers, sellers and investors of
all types to find the perfect property for them. It is during these transactions that she gets to
meet so many of her fellow MMDC members.
Tracy has served on the committees for MMDC, Women’s Council of Realtors® and the
Scholarship committee for MAAR. She also actively volunteers for Memphis In May and the
Levitt Shell.
Tracy so enjoyed working on the Multi-Million Dollar Club committee in the 2019/2020 year
and would love the opportunity to serve as the Second Year Director for 2020/2021.
May 2020 Election
Travis D. Patterson is the Principal Broker of Patterson Homes Real Estate Co., a Full-Service
Real Estate Brokerage founded in 2019. Travis received a Bachelor of Business Administration
with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Memphis which
launched his Real Estate career. In 2014, Travis became a member of MAAR and a Board
Member of United Housing, where he held a seat until 2019. As a local leader, Travis went on
to receive his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and became a
Multi Million Dollar Club Member in 2019. Travis’ dedication to professional growth and
service allows him to use his knowledge of Real Estate and mortgages to serve 50-60+
families per year.
Dustin Benetz, an Affiliate Broker with Emmett Baird Realty and Fast Track Realty, is half of
the Moving Memphis Group. His partner in real estate, Tracie, is also his awesome partner
in life. In 2019 Dustin became a Multi Million Dollar Club member after one year as a
licensed agent. Though busy with three kids, ages 16-25, in 2019 Dustin and Tracie helped
enough clients to become the top producing agents in their brokerage of over 200. Spend
five minutes with Dustin and you will see he operates from a place of humility. His motto in
life is “You can have everything you want in life if you will just help other people get what

Online voting will be begin May 5 and end on May 15 at 3:00 pm.
Your 2020-21 MMDC Board of Governors will be announced
on the MMDC Facebook and MAAR Facebook pages the evening of May 15.
There will be no non-electronic voting options. However, we will have support persons
available to offer technical assistance if needed.
