September 4th Chairman’s Evening + Triptych Competition and Members presentation A social evening after the summer break. Colin Smith & Mike Poole presenting some of the images from their Accreditation Panels. (Entries for 1st Round Digital Competition by 11th Sept) 11th Urban Exploration - The Chernobyl Project & Beyond: (PDI) “Urbanex Photography”, capturing old, abandoned buildings and locations to create time capsules of history, with a special focus on Chernobyl. Speaker: Charlotte Nuttall ARPS 18th 1st Round Competition - Digital Images Open Subject Judge: Robert Falconer 25th A project-based approach to photography: (PDI, prints, video) How to create powerful images by taking a logical, project-based approach. From initial concept, contact building, planning and shooting, right through to processing techniques. Speaker: David Keep ARPS, CPAGB, BPE5

Demonstration of different paper surfaces and printing techniques. November 6th MACRO Practical Evening Reptiles and Insects Evening: bring your cameras and macro equipment and photograph a range of subjects.
