2About WSCGA
The Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association (WSCGA) is a
member-based organization designed to cultivate Wisconsin’s
cranberry industry and support its growers through useful
educational resources, responsible environmental stewardship,
sound governmental policies and effective public
communications.
Founded in 1887 to serve the needs of the state’s cranberry growers, WSCGA is committed to developing
and implementing programs that assist growers in doing a better job of growing cranberries and
strengthening public support for cranberry growing in Wisconsin. The state leads the nation in cranberry
production, supplying 60 percent of the nation’s cranberry crop.
The Association consists of Grower Members and Associate Members and is staffed by:

Listings and advertisements in the WSCGA Buyer’s Guide puts your
business name and contact information at the fingertips of cranberry growers.
Wisconsin cranberry growers turn to the Buyer’s Guide as the “Yellow Pages” of
WSCGA Associate Members. The Buyer’s Guide is organized by type of business or
service provided. Basic Members will receive up to three category listings, and
additional listings are available for $15 each. Premium Members receive unlimited
listings free of charge. The Buyer’s Guide is published annually and distributed at
the WSCGA Summer Field Day & Trade Show.
Advertising opportunities are available in various ad sizes and positions to meet
your advertising needs. Select from full-, half-, or quarter-page ad sizes and interior
or cover-facing ad locations to promote your business to Wisconsin cranberry
growers. For 2020 and going forward, the online publication has been upgraded to
a user-friendly flip book that increases the readability and interactivity of the booklet.
Program Book
The WSCGA Program Book advertising delivers an
effective connection to Wisconsin’s cranberry growers.
The Program Book is created yearly to highlight the
Summer Field Day host marsh and provide valuable
information to Grower Members. Contents include
feature articles, Association updates, Summer Meeting
information, industry-related information, Wisconsin
Cranberry Board, Inc. research project reports, and more.
Ad spaces are available in full-, half, or quarter-page
sizes, with the option of interior or cover-facing
locations. Plan now to take advantage of this valuable
marketing tool for your business! For 2020 and going forward,
the online publication has been upgraded to a user-friendly
flip book that increases the readability and interactivity of the
booklet.
4Grower Direct-Outreach
As an Associate Member, you have the opportunity to contact the WSCGA Grower Membership through the
Grower-Direct Outreach Program. This valuable opportunity is a great way to distribute newsletters, new-
product information, seasonal offerings, etc. You can chose
your outreach format – mail, email or both!
• Basic Associate Members: Your membership includes one
outreach opportunity per membership year and the ability to
purchase up to three more outreach opportunities for $50
each.
• Premium Associate Members: Your membership includes
four outreach opportunities per membership year, at no
charge.
WSCGA News
Promote your business in WSCGA NEWS, the official
newsletter for Wisconsin cranberry producers. WSCGA
News is distributed monthly to WSCGA Grower Members,
Associate Members, and industry affiliates. Newsletter
advertising is a benefit available only to WSCGA Members.

As a WSCGA Associate Member, you have the privilege of

WSCGA NEWS—Vendor Corner
The “Vendor Corner” is a paid editorial opportunity in the WSCGA newsletter. This program is available to all
WSCGA Premium level members. The Vendor Corner offers Premium Members the opportunity to highlight
business news, share announcements, etc. to provide Grower members with valuable industry information.
WSCGA NEWS— New Member Introduction Article
The WSCGA offers a robust member benefit program to help our Associate Members to build their business
and relationships within the Wisconsin cranberry industry. To help our new members to get started, we are
offering a brief introductory article in our monthly newsletter, the WSCGA News.
WSCGA Associate Member Showcase
The Associate Member Showcase is an online repository of in-depth and multimedia information from
Associate members. The showcase is now live on the WSCGA website and will be promoted to WSCGA
Grower Members via email, monthly newsletter and in conjunction with virtual events. New for 2020 and
going forward, the online publication has been upgraded to a user-friendly flip book that increases the
readability and interactivity of the booklet.

All outreach will be done according to the WSCGA Mailing Policy and the following guidelines:
1. APPROVAL:
Submit a draft of the mailer or email to WSCGA at wiscran@wiscran.org. The WSCGA Executive
Director will review your draft. You will receive an email when your draft is approved, as well as
the count for mailed materials.
2. PRODUCTION:

As a WSCGA Associate Member, you have the privilege of displaying the WSCGA Membership Logo, a
unique mark that signifies commitment to and support of the cranberry industry. This logo differentiates
your organization – display it proudly for promotional purposes such as advertisements, brochures, and
websites.
GENERAL USAGE RULES
1. Use of the WSCGA Membership Logo is permitted solely to identify an organization as a WSCGA
Associate Member.
2. If at any time an organization ceases to be a member, it will immediately discontinue any use of
the logo.
3. The Membership Logo must be reproduced from artwork supplied by the WSCGA. To protect
integrity of the logo, this artwork may not be altered.
4. Current WSCGA Associate Members may use the Membership Logo in the following ways:
• Online in email signature blocks or on an organizational website and other online venues.
• In the member organization's offices (e.g., displayed on windows, doors, interior and exterior
signs and other appropriate locations).
• On organizational stationery such as letterhead, envelopes and business cards.
• In advertisements, promotional materials, trade show displays, websites, email, and
publications relevant to membership in the WSCGA.
5. The Membership Logo may not be used in any manner that conveys or implies the Association’s
endorsement, sponsorship or approval of a member’s specific programs, activities, products or
services.
To maintain consistency of the WSCGA logo, please follow the guidelines below when developing your
project:
FILES: Logo files are provided upon request in .jpg or .pdf format.
VARIATIONS: The Membership Logo is available in full-color or black and white.
LEADING: To ensure the Membership Logo isn’t unnecessarily crowded by accompanying text or
graphics and is prominent and legible, the logo should have leading of at least the height
of the C as featured in the word Cranberry
SIZE: To ensure the logo and text are legible in any publication, the Membership Logo should
always measure at least 1 inch (25mm) in width.
APPROVAL: Submit a proof or tearsheet showing the intended use of the Membership Logo. The
WSCGA Executive Director will review. You will receive suggested revisions or approval
via email within 2 business days.

AD SPECIFICATIONS
Ad Deadline: Copy & materials are due at WSCGA office by the 15th of the month for next month’s issue.
Dimensions: 7-1/4” wide by 4-3/4” tall
Content: Maximum text length of 250 words. Advertiser agrees that content should focus on information, findings, or
resources in an objective way that both benefits and informs the audience and does not solely focus on the direct
promotion of a company or product.
Copy: Provided by advertiser. Submit text in a word processing document.
Images: Two images can be included, logos and/or photos are accepted. Images will be sized and placed so as not to
exceed one-half of ad space. Submit images in .jpeg or PDF format.
Ink Color: Black in printed newsletters and full color in emailed & website version of newsletter
Placement: The Vendor Corner will be located on the bottom half of the last page of the newsletter. Every effort is made
to avoid placement of competitor ads on the same page or facing pages. Advertiser preferred locations are not available.
Payment: Payment is due with this ad contract. Invoices can be provide upon request and are payable upon receipt.

While we know that face-to-face meetings and events are the most effective for networking with growers, we are striving to provide acceptable alternatives via technology. We have developed an Associate Member Showcase as a value-added benefit to accompany your Premium level Associate Membership. The Showcase will be an online repository of in-depth and multimedia information from Associate members. Guidelines Premium level Associate members are eligible to participate in the Showcase. Your entry in the Showcase will take the form of a listing on the “Showcase Landing Page” and an “Associate Member Information Sheet”, where you can provide narrative, video, links, etc. This will provide an opportunity for you to share the information that you would have distributed at the Summer Trade Show. To participate, please complete and return the information sheet template. There is flexibility in what information you can include, whether you have marketing videos, product literature, or a personalized recorded greeting- we can assess what you have and develop a plan to incorporate it into the information sheet. Return your completed information sheet template to Alex Skawinski at alex.skawinski@wiscran.org. Please reach out via email or phone if you have questions (715.423.2070 ext. 2), need to submit large files, or would like help assessing the materials you have available for the information sheet.
