Welcome
to Milan
On behalf of the European Association for Osseointegration, it
is our pleasure to announce that the EAO’s 30th annual scien-
tific meeting will take place in Milan, Italy, 14-16 October 2021.
The meeting will be organised in cooperation with the main
Italian societies; the Italian Society of Periodontology and Im-
plantology (SiDP) and the Italian Academy for Ossoeintegra-
tion (IAO).
This joint meeting promises to be the largest international
meeting held in Italy, with thousands of delegates from all
over the world, making it a landmark in the field of implant
dentistry. For the first time ever, we are delighted to welcome
Israel as our guest country. Delegates from the invited country
will be able to register at discounted rates, and we are looking
forward to welcoming a significant number of delegates to
Milan. We will also run in parallel a very sought-after hygienist
programme organised by the Italian Society of Periodontology,
a landmark for periodontists and hygienists in Italy.
The joint effort of the three academies will bring together
innovation, science and top-notch speakers to share their in-
sights on important topics in the fields of dental implants and
prosthodontics. Other inter-arch disciplines will be presented
too, making this a really unique and rich programme which
will be held in the brand-new convention centre in the fash-
ionable city of Milan.
An exciting programme will also be on offer for the younger
generation of dentists ranging from lectures and hands-on
workshops to networking events.
Corporate partners and sponsors of Milan 2021 will be able to
meet congress delegates face-to-face and establish important
and meaningful relationships.
We hope you can join us in Milan for this global event and help
us inspire the future of implant dentistry.
