expected before it began.
However, the 2020/21 school year
proved to be a year of university
unlike any other. Spending the
year at home in Port Carling, it
was not what I had anticipated
but it had its pros and cons. The
opportunity to meet new people
was minimized - at least in person
- and naturally it was a little bit
more difficult to collaborate on
certain aspects of learning.
Nevertheless, I met a good deal of
new friends and worked with a lot
of great people, and with the
technology we have today, the
experience was much more
enjoyable than it may have been
otherwise.

In spite of the misfortune
associated with first-year being

experience I had. Through the
year I learned a great deal about
not only academic subjects but
also about the industry I want to
pursue and myself as a person. I
was exposed to more new things
than I could have possibly
imagined and as a result I believe
