                                                                                                  She has the potential for glory! Many breeders have tried
                                                                                             to buy “Sophie.” Only one (or a partnership) will get the job
                                                                                             done. Firegirl has had as many friends as any heifer to trek
                                                                                             out on the show road. And have the judges liked her? I’d
                                                                                             say! This heifer started out as a 2010 National Class Winner
                                                                                             in Denver at 9-months of age. She was an AIJCA Junior
                                                                                             National Class Winner this summer. Then she turned on the
                                                                                             powerstroke and was named Supreme Champion Female
                                                                                             three times over all breeds in the competitive South Dakota
                                                                                             show circuit, along with one Reserve Supreme at the South
                                                                                             Dakota Spotlight behind only Mustang Sally in which a flush
                                                                                             sells in this National Event.
           Most recently, Firegirl was a two-time Supreme Champion Female over all open show entries and all 4-H Junior Show entries at the 2010
      South Dakota State Fair. Many high-dollar show heifers from all breeds were on the short end of that stick.

                                                                    right now! EC Lady Duke 2022 is just now coming into her
                                                                    own, no doubt because of the excitement her son, EC No
                                                                    Doubt 2022, has caused the last year. He sired several of the
                                                                    top-selling bulls in the country this past year.
                                                                         A flush in EC Lady Duke 2022 sold this past summer for
                                                                    $4,000 to Rob & Kylie Costello in Australia during the World
                                                                    Charolais Congress Sale, which was the top-selling flush in
                                                                    that sale. She produced 17 transferable embryos for them sired
                                                                    by Eatons Royal Dynasty 6164.
                                                                         The Shepherds have retained several ET daughters and a
                                                                    son to spread her genetics throughout their elite herd. Those ET

                                                                        We have tried for a few years to get this great female
                                                                    into the National Sale, and after verbal sparring over several
                                                                    meals with Wayne, Floyd Wampler, David Hobbs and me,
                                                                    we finally got her!
                                                                        This is one beautifully made female that Wayne
                                                                    developed from his Oak Hill Farm program. She is a stout ET
                                                                    Wyoming Wind daughter out of the foundation donor D029,
                                                                    who he has built his program around. This is one of the very
                                                                    best. Her first bull calf had a weaning weight of 872 lbs., and
                                                                                  she immediately went into embryo production.
                                                                                  Wayne kept this fertile donor productive
                                                                                  including natural calves born: 10-12-06, 9-18-
                                                                                  07, 9-7-08 and 9-17-09, while still producing
                                                                                  embryos. One daughter remains in the herd, one

                                                                      Once upon a time there was a cute little princess that went
                                                                  out and kicked the crap out of every other princess she came
                                                                  across!
                                                                      When Bomshell sold on Oct. 3, 2009, during the 2009
                                                                  Northern Exposure Sale, very few saw the awesome potential
                                                                  that this heifer had lurking inside. At five months of age
                                                                  the Dickerson family did and brought this heifer home for
                                                                  $14,000. Three months later on January 17th she stood as
                                                                  the 41st National Reserve Champion Heifer. After many
                                                                  championships in spring jackpot shows, she went into the
                                                                              late summer state fairs and so far has dominated
                                                                              and been selected the grand champion at the
                                                                              2010 Missouri and Iowa State Fairs. Her most
                                                                              recent victory was being selected the Supreme
                                                                              Champion over all breeds at the always tough
                                                                              Kansas State Fair Junior Show. She is well on
                                                                              her way to being the Show Heifer of the Year,
                                                                              and she comes to Kansas City with the National
                                                                              Championship trophy in her sights.

                                                                       Miss Peugeot R04 began her career as the lead heifer in the
                                                                  2006 Denver Pen-of-Heifers class winner during the National

                                                                  South Dakota State Fair Reserve Grand Female as a calf. Later
                                                                  in 2006 R04 was selected the North American International

                                                                           The dam of this heifer is a super Unlimited Ease 9108
                                                                       daughter that has been a valuable asset to the University
                                                                       herd. She has most notably produced one of their current
                                                                                 herd sires, NWMSU Platinum 4108-888, who
                                                                                 is siring an exceptional amount of muscle along
                                                                                 with being a moderate birth weight producer. His
                                                                                 full sister, Ms Impressive 359-7130, is their best

                                                                                                         National Champion alert! This March heifer calf is
                                                                                                     bred in the purple. Her sire, Field Rep, is the sire of the
                                                                                                     current National Champion Female, DCF Pure Gold. Her
                                                                                                     dam was both National Champion Female and AIJCA
                                                                                                     Junior National Grand Champion Female in 2001.
                                                                                                         This is a big-bodied, high-volume heifer that still
                                                                                                     carries the eye appeal for the show ring. Her maternal sister
                                                                                                     was the high-selling heifer at $7,000 in the 2009 Kansas
                                                                                                     City Ten Grand Heifer Sale in Kansas City and a reserve
