The Blyde River Canyon is a significant natural feature of South Africa, lo-
cated in Mpumulanga, and forming the northern part of the Drakensberg
escarpment. It is 16 miles (26 km) in length and is, on average, around

on earth having lush subtropical foliage.

The Three Rondavels are a major icon of Mpumulanga. This geological
wonder is on the popular Panorama Route tourist drive to follow when ex-
ploring the province. The Three Rondavels are three round mountain tops Shangana Cultural Village
with rounded pointed tops, much like the traditional round or oval African
homesteads called rondavels. Midway between the Blyde River Canyon and the southern Kruger
National Park, the residents of the traditional villages of Shangana invite
guests to share in the way of life of the Shangaan people. The picturesque
villages are set in the shade of ancient trees, in a reserve of forest and
grassland, and are open every day.
Mac Mac Falls
The Mac Mac Falls is a declared national landmark of South Africa. 13 km
from Sabie on the R532 road towards Graskop. The turnoff and parking
area is at the curio stalls and a nominal entrance fee is charged. A steep
walk up the many steps takes you to the viewing platform above the falls.
This waterfall was originally a single stream until gold miners blasted it with
dynamite to divert the river in an attempt to work the rich gold-bearing reef

We stayed here one night before heading to Kruger. Our room was nice and clean and toiletries were provided in the
bathroom. It was our first night in South Africa and we were a bit clueless about safety but the hotel guard walked my
partner to KFC to get us a takeaway for tea. The breakfast was excellent a buffet with a huge selection, there were
even scones with cream and jam...perfect for a British couple!!

The staff on the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The Dining room staff were equally friendly and welcoming.
The room was open and inviting especially the fact that I could connect to the wi-fi without any glitches.
The location is perfect for me because it is closer to my business partners
