     The Winter Series in particular has been a huge
     boost to sailing locally, offering genuine year-
     round competition. Races are held every second

     has been known for up to eighty yachts across
     four fleets to race between Goat Island and the
     Gladesville Bridge.
     Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third
     placing boats on handicap in each division for
     each race and trophies awarded to first, second

     Yachtsmen and women of all abilities are
     catered for at Drummoyne, from the absolute
     beginner to the elite sailor and everyone in
     between. Yachts, for instance, represent the

     The Drummoyne Yachts hold an end-of-season
     presentation in April at which the Ron Cant Plate
     winner is announced. This prestigious club
     award goes to the overall handicap winner on
     combined points of the twilight, summer and
     winter series.
