provides you with all of the support, knowledge & experience that you require, to assist your
journey to the finish line.

After visiting Port Elizabeth in October 2017, we have selected three high quality accommodation
options, who we have worked with to ensure an athlete-friendly stay. One of the three hotel options
can be booked as part of a stress-free tour travel package or on a stand-alone basis, allowing you to
choose added extras such as return flights, airport transfers, bike mechanical services, bike course tour
and more.

This is our most popular option and is designed through our experience and knowledge of attending
70.3 World Championships.
The tour provides you with the best possible preparation before the race and as soon as you land in
Port Elizabeth, we will be with you every step of the way and allow you to fully focus on your race,
whilst enjoying a trip of a lifetime.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

3* Town Lodge Port Elizabeth - Official Nirvana HQ Hotel
The Town Lodge Port Elizabeth offers comfortable accommodation in a well-positioned location,
within 600 metres of the IRONMAN 70.3 Race Village (Boardwalk Hotel); 1.3km from the Race
Start/T1 and 550metres from the Finish and T2. As well as the benefit of a daily breakfast buffet (from
4am on each race day), our experienced event staff will be based at the hotel throughout the event
and will be on hand 24/7 to provide all of the assistance you require, to ensure your stay is as
comfortable as possible. Our qualified bike mechanic will also be stationed at the hotel and our hotel
info desk will provide you with not only hotel and race related information, but you will also be able to
book excursions (including half day, full day & extended stay safari's).

5* Boardwalk Hotel (Official Race Hotel)
The Boardwalk Hotel hosts the IRONMAN 70.3 Race Village and is located close to the Blue Flag
awarded Hobie Beach and the IRONMAN 70.3 finish line and T2. Classic rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-
screen TVs, minibars, and tea and coffeemaking equipment, and many have private patios. Other
features include a spa, gym, two pools and a casino featuring live entertainment and shopping.

3* Summerstrand Hotel Port Elizabeth
Located adjacent to the IRONMAN 70.3 run & bike course, the hotel provides "Hospitality from the
Heart". Rooms are fully equipped with split unit air-conditioning, Satellite TV, telephone, hair
dryers, balcony, walk-in showers and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel's landscape
gardens offer a large swimming pool, playground facilities for the little ones and a seasonal bar.

Africa is all about, with a half day Safari
tour, that will enhance your trip of a
lifetime!
Half Day Tooth & Claw Schotia Safari
Schotia is a private game reserve in the
Eastern Cape of South Africa and guests
are given the opportunity to get the best
viewing positions of rhino, hippo, giraffe
and the king of the beasts, lions!

       The Schotia Tooth & Claw Safari is a four
       hour guided game drive in an open Land
       Rover with a short refreshments and
       toilet break at the halfway point.

                           insurances are all correct and up to

To assist your IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship journey
We understand some athletes & spectators do not require the full support that we offer, or like to do
their own preparation in their own time; not a problem.

We can also offer our three race accommodation options on a stand-alone basis which allow you to
add optional extras including airport meet & greet with return transfers and a bike course tour/ride.

your stay is as stress-free as possible and to also
answer any queries you may have.

Bike Mechanical Services
In Port Elizabeth, we will have a professional, fully qualified and experienced bike mechanic
exclusively for Nirvana Europe clients.

Our mechanic is a very keen cyclist and has attended many triathlon events throughout the World,
providing bike mechanical services at events such as the Tour de France, IRONMAN Austria, ITU WTS
Grand Final, previous IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships and the IRONMAN World Championship
in Kona.

Is your bike already assembled and ready to ride, but not ready to Race? Schedule a final pre-race
tune up.

- Unpack and Assemble
Unpacked from your bike box or bag, assembled and pre race tune up.

- Disassemble and Pack for Transportation
Once you have finished your race, drop off your bike along with your bike box or bag and we will
disassemble and pack your bike, ready for transportation.

- Build, Pre-race Tune Up, Storage, Disassemble and Pack
A complete race setup package, taking care of everything for you from when you arrive in Port
Elizabeth.

SCHOCIA PRIVATE SAFARI
Schotia Safari is the oldest private game reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, bordering the
eastern side of Addo Elephant National Park.

Enjoy your Safari in South Africa on this malaria free reserve, which is the most densely stocked
reserve in Africa, and with over 40 mammal species and approximately 2,000 animals, Schotia will
provide consistently good game viewing throughout the year. Schotia was the first reserve in the Cape
Province to have free roaming lions and we can almost guarantee sightings of these magnificent
animals on every Safari tour.

THE GARDEN ROUTE: Take a Journey through Eden
Made up of a narrow belt between the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma Mountains,
the Garden Route extends from Mossel Bay to Port Elizabeth and is a favourite self-drive destination.

Gaining its name from the indigenous Yellowwood Forests and abundant wild flowers, the Garden
Route is an enchanting shoreline of lovely bays, high cliffs and wide estuaries with a hinterland of
mountains, spectacular passes, rivers, waterfalls and wooded ravines, lagoons and malaria free Big
Five safari areas.

Along the Coastal Route you’ll find excellent lodges, world class golf courses, eateries, quaint villages
(like Knysna)and colourful marinas. The warm Indian Ocean beckons bathers, anglers, surfers and
divers and is teeming with schools of dolphins and hordes of barking, cliff climbing seals.
