       OTC 2019 Chairman
                     Dear Colleague:
                     I would like to invite you to participate in the OTC Golden
                     Anniversary Gala Dinner on Sunday, 5 May at the Marriott
                     Marquis located in downtown Houston. This event will
                     kick off the 50th Anniversary of OTC, which will be held
                     6–9 May at NRG Park in Houston.
                      The OTC Golden Anniversary Gala Dinner promises to be
a memorable evening. We will recognize the OTC Distinguished Achievement
Award recipients and network with our colleagues from around the world, all
while raising funds for a worthy cause.
The desire to give back to the community was a primary driver for the creation
of the event. Each year, the net proceeds from the dinner are donated to a
charitable organization that is in some way connected to the offshore energy
industry or to the communities where we operate; and makes a difference in
people’s lives or addresses important environmental issues. The Executive
Advisory Board selects US and international organizations that fit the criteria
mentioned above.
Because of the faithful support of industry-leading companies, more than
USD 1.7 million has been donated to worthy organizations in the past
eight years.
The success of the dinner is dependent upon the generosity of OTC’s
