HELP WANTED: OLP parishioners to consider weekly hospital communion calls
for our parishioners. We are currently looking for two people to be trained to visit the sick who have
registered as OLP parishioners at our local hospitals: One for Saturdays, and one for Sundays each week.
These ministers will need to be agreeable about being trained for protocols and procedures to ensure respect
for the patient’s privacy (HIPPA) and to faithfully represent our parish as they offer a visit, a prayer, and the
Holy Eucharist. This is a wonderful ministry opportunity. For questions or to offer your name, please

                                    OLP Youth Ministry Wish List
Below are a few ways YOU can support the OLP youth ministry program:
Donations of individually wrapped: chips, cookies, crackers, as well as boxes of juice pouches or
other sports drinks. Your donation of these items will help us to save our budget for big events
       throughout the year! ($13-$15).
Donations of gift cards: for Dominos, Little Ceasars, or Walmart will also make a big difference for our
ministry allowing us to use our budget for events rather than food! ($20+)
We are building our selection of games. Donations of decks of cards would be wonderful ($1-$3). We
would love to purchase the Catholic Card Game ($40 on Amazon), Exploding Kittens ($20 on
Amazon), the Ultimate Catchphrase Game ($40 at Walmart), Codenames ($11 at Walmart), as
well as any other game you think would be fun.
Balls for games are a must as well: volleyballs ($9 at Walmart), kickballs ($15 at Walmart),
dodgeballs ($2 at Five Below/or a set from Amazon is $20), ultimate frisbees ($4 at Five Below),
soccer balls ($5 at Five Below), basket balls ($5 at Five Below), footballs ($4 at Five Below), or
any other balls would be great for our events.
Big ticket items include: Volleyball Net ($50)
9 Square in the Air ($500)
                             Speaker ($150)
We would appreciate monetary donations towards big ticket items, so we don’t buy more than we need!
Sponsor a youth event for the year:
          - Sponsor (1) High School Student to attend (NCYC) National Youth Conference ($300)
          - Sponsor an event at Damascus ($150-$500)
