Affectionately referred to as “Le Témis” by its inhabitants, this region is
known for its bountiful nature.
Studying
Located in the westernmost part of Quebec, south of the Abitibi
region, bounded by Ontario and by a lake with the same name, the
Témiscamingue region is no doubt one of Quebec’s most beautiful
rural regions. You’ll be seduced by its undulating land, which is suitable
for agriculture, its 7,500 lakes and rivers and its vast forests. Thanks to its
festivals, events and museums, the Témis is bubbling with culture. Its rich
