On behalf of the Pan-American Judo Confederation, we give you the most cordial
welcome to the Pan-American Cadets and Junior Championship 2019.

For the Pan American Judo Confederation, it is very important to keep on making and
promoting events, so that the competitors in these categories have a high level
championship.

I thank and congratulate the Colombian Judo Federation for its valuable support in
the organization of this event, wishing all competitors, coaches and support staff that
this Championship is a great experience, with achievements and successes.

Maximum for each country: Two competitors of the same nationality by weight
category, with a maximum per delegation of ten athletes in men and ten in women
for CADETS. In JUNIOR category maximum nine (9)
The date of birth and nationality must be proven by means of an official passport
of the country of origin, attach a scanned copy.

The registration must be made through the IJF online system at
http://www.judobase.org.

Delegations that do not register within the date indicated on that website will not
be able to participate, without exception.

7. INSURANCE
Each National Federation is responsible for its competitors. Both the control of
Non-Pregnancy and the control of gender are under their responsibility.
Federations must assume full responsibility for accident and disease insurance
and for civil liabilities of their competitors and officials throughout the stay in
Colombia.
The organization of the tournament and the Colombian Judo Federation will not
be responsible for any insurance related to the aforementioned matters.
Within the competition coliseum, the organization will have emergency primary
care and ambulance for transfer to a hospital if required. Any subsequent or
extraordinary medical attention, such as injury and / or illness that requires
hospitalization, treatments, surgical interventions and medications, will be

assumed, in terms of costs, by the Federation of each country. Therefore, all
participating delegations and judokas will exempt the Colombian Judo
Federation and its respective Organizing Committee from responsibility for any
mishap, injury, accident, illness or death that arises inside or outside the
competition venue or in related trips and transfers. to this event.

8. HOTELS
All the delegations must be lodged in the official hotels. Hotel reservations must
be made only through the organization of the championship.

On competition days lunch will be held only in the El Pueblo Coliseum area.
All rates are per person per night and include: accommodation, food (breakfast,
lunch and dinner), transportation from the airport to the Hotel round trip, from the
Hotel to the place of competition round trip.

NOTE: the hiring of accommodation and food is for a minimum period of three
days, not partial, or that the minimum stay is 3 (three) days.
The delegations that under any circumstance do not stay in the official hotels that
are indicated in these bases, will have to cancel an additional registration fee of
USD 250 for each member of the delegation. These delegations will not have
food, training or official transport of the tournament.

To optimize your accommodation and stay it is important that you indicate the
number of members of the delegation before June 18, 2019. The Dann Carlton
hotel and the traditional Dann are facing each other.

IMPORTANT: All damage to the property of the hotels or tournament sites that
result from the stay of a delegation, must be charged to the respective Federation,
who must make the full payment of damages.

related to amendments to the bank transfer must be made by the participating
team before arriving in Colombia. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THE COSTS OF

The information about the bank payment must reach fecoljudo@hotmail.com,

9. ACCREDITATIONS
Accreditation and delivery of the credentials will take place on Wednesday, July
17 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m. at the Dann Carlton Hotel, run 2 # 2- 60 Cali.
The head of delegation of each country must be presented in time to accredit the
arrival of all athletes and delegates. At the moment of accreditation, each athlete
must pay the annual fee established by the CPJ. Also the CSJ US $ 20.00 for the
South American Championships.

10. PANAMERICAN JUDO CONFEDERATION
Countries that have not paid the annual membership fee of 2019 must do so
before participating in the championship. The annual fee for the Federation is $
240.00 USD. Each athlete must pay the fee of the CPJ and the CSJ of US $ 20.00
for each event in which they participate, at the time of registration in one of the
official hotels.

11. WEIGHING
It will be held the day before the competition at the official Dann Carlton hotel,
race 2 # 1-60 Cali.
Unofficial weighing from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. OFFICIAL WEIGHING from 8:30
a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

12. DRAW
It will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at the official Dann Carlton
hotel, race 2 # 1-60 Cali. Each country can send two (2) delegates to the draw

13. AWARD CEREMONY
Medals will be given to the First, Second and Two Third Parties.
At the moment of receiving the award, the athlete must appear with WHITE
judogui.
Any competitor who has won a medal must attend the ceremony and receive
the medal in person. If a competitor is absent during the award ceremony for an
invalid reason, he will lose his right to the medal.
Competitors are strictly prohibited from taking their national flags or similar
identifications to the podium.
Any religious, political, personal or commercial demonstration is also forbidden,
or using a cap or other head covering or any other gadget.
The classification between countries will be defined by the Olympic system, first
the most gold, in case of a tie the silver will be taken into account, if the tie for
the Bronze persists. Only in case of persisting the tie will be the 5th, then the
7th, finally, the 9th.

14. JUDOGUI AND PROTOCOL.
A blue and a white judogui will be mandatory for each competitor.
The control of judoguis, will be done according to the Sokuteki rules approved by
the IJF from January 1, 2009.
In all official training, awards and ceremonies of start and end of the tournament,
the judokas must present themselves with WHITE judogui, without socks or
jackets or accessories.

For the hygiene of the feet, the judokas must move with footwear in the heating
zones.
The competing ladies must wear, under the judogui jacket, a plain white shirt or
mesh, with short sleeves, of resistant fabric, long enough to be inserted inside
the pants. The shirt or mesh must be round neck and can not have visible marks
or drawings.
The hair of ladies and men should not touch the lapel of the jacket.
The judogis must be clean and with their measures adjusted to the IJF regulation.
The Sokuteiki will be used in the Judoguis Control area.
Failure to respect these rules may mean disqualification of the tournament.

15. BACKNUMBER
Cada participante tiene la obligación de tener cosido, en la parte de atrás de su
judogui, el backnumber con su apellido y la abreviatura del país. Debe tener la
siguiente dimensión: Ancho 38cm – Alto 39cm. La zona de nombre y país debe
tener: Ancho 37cm – Alto 19,5cm.
El backnumber IJF debe debe fijarse horizontalmente y centrado en la parte
posterior del judogi. Debe estar a 3 cm debajo de la parte inferior de la solapa.
El backnumber pueden obtenerlo en los sitios:

Los backnumber son responsabilidad de cada Federación. El no cumplir con este
requisito significará la descalificación del judoca de la competencia.

16. COACHES
The code of behavior of the coaches will be strictly observed, including the dress
code, which for this event may be with a jacket, pants and tie or the sports uniform
of your delegation.
Coaches are not allowed to give directions to competitors while they are fighting.
Only during the MATE breaks are coaches allowed to give their athletes
instructions. After the break and continuation of the fight, the coaches must
remain silent again.
If a coach does not respect these rules, he can be expelled from the competition
area. If the coach persists in his behavior from outside the competition area, he
may be penalized and expelled from the sports arena.

17. TRAINING.

Training schedules will be requested at the time of accreditation by the country
delegate. The trainings will take place at the official Dann Carlton hotel, race 2 #
1-60 Cali

18. INTERNAL TERRESTRIAL TRANSPORTATION
The organizers will provide the delegations housed in official hotels, free of
charge, the transportation between the airport and the official hotels, and from
the official hotels to where the activities planned for the tournament are carried
out.

The organization is not responsible for this transport, if the flight itinerary
information is not sent on time, or if it is modified without notice, and in no case
for activities outside of those official tournament.
