On behalf of the Pan American Judo Confederation, we give you the warmest welcome
to the Panamerican Open Chile 2020.

For the Pan American Judo Confederation, it is very important that events of great
importance continue to be held on the continent, so that the competitors of
Panamerica, have a high-level championship and even more, for being a scoring Open
for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

I thank the Judo Federation of Chile for their valuable support in organizing this event,
wishing all the competitors, coaches and support staff, that this event be a great
experience, with achievements and successes.

Nations missing the registration deadline will not be allowed to start. No exceptions will
be made! All competitors, coaches and officials must be entered in time. After the
deadline, no additional persons can be added.

Each National Federation is responsible for their contestant. Birth control as well as
gender control is under their responsiblities.
Federations must asume all responsibility for accident and medical as well as public
liability insurances for their contestants and staff during their stay in Chile.

Tournament´s Management and the Judo Federation of Chile (Federación de Judo de
Chile) will not be held responsable for any insurance related with aboe-mentioned
matters.

Inside the competition gymnasium, tournament’s management will provide primary
care emergency service, and an ambulance to transfer people to a hospital facility, if
required. All further or additional medical treatmant, such as an injury and/or disease
that requires hospitalization, treatmant, surgical procedures and medicine will be taken
on by each country’s federation as for as costs are concerned. Therefore, all
participating delegations and judokas will reléase the Judo Federation of Chile and their
respetive organizing committee from the responsability for any incident, injury,
accident, disease or death that might take place inside or outside tournament’s facilities
or during trips or transportation related with this event.

On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 , lunch will be done in the venue.

Hotel reservations must be made only through the tournament’s organization.
Hotel reservations must be made until February 12th, 2020 at least.
Hotel payment will be expected until March 1st, 2020.

All bank fees and bank transfer costs have to be paud by the participating National
Federation. In case of difference between the invoiced amount and the amount
received, the difference payment will be requested during the accreditation

Those delegations of countries that cannot make bank transfers will have to pay in cah
upon presenting credentials, having previously fulfilled in time with formal registrations
and reservations
Any reservations or request for extra-romos, additional to the ones requested after the
etablished deadlines, will have a surcharge of 10% on top of indicated rates, with no
exception.
Any room cancellation after February 20th, 2018, will ot be entlited to reimubursement.
Reservation cancellations cannot be made upon check-in.
Injuries, visa problems or diseases will not be accepted as valid reasons to cancel room
reservations.

IMPORTANT: All damages to hotels’ or tournament facility’s properties, asresult of a
delegation stay, will have to be charged to the respetive Federation, who will have to
pay for the entire damages.

Accreditation and delivery of credentials will be held:

March 12st, from 14:00pm to 18:00pm at the hotel Plaza El Bosque
March 13th, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the hotel Plaza el Bosque

The head of each country’s delegations will have to appear in time to present credentials
of all athlets and delegates. On that opportunity, the charge per judoka, registered for
the tournament, will have to be paid.

Attending late or an absence to credential checking willlead the exclusión of all
contestants from the draw and event.

All contestants, coaches and delegates will be provided with credentials, which they
must carry at all times.

All participant´s passports must be available at hand, if required.

As approved by the CPJ Congress last November 2019 in Guadalajara Mexico,
the CPJ membership will cost $ 100 USD and $ 50 USD for infantile.
You must be registered as a CPJ member to be able to take part in the events
in Panamerica, the membership must be paid by athletes, coaches,
delegates, medical staff and referees, the validity of the membership is until
December 31, 2020 , for registration please go to the page that will be
published before February 15 (the address to register will be informed in a
letter), membership is mandatory for all Panamerican participants.

Participation Countries NOT belonging to the Pan American Judo
Confederation

The cost of participation for athletes from countries that are not belonging
to the Pan American Judo Confederation will be $ 40.00 USD and will be paid
on the website that will be published before February 15. NO CASH
PAYMENTS WILL BE RECEIVED

•   Each Federation must send per email their national anthem, in short versión and in

•Each country may send two (2) delegates to the draw
           •The top eight (8) from the entered competitors in each weight category will be
              seeded according to the current World Ranking List

    •   At the momento of receiving an award, the athlete must present hom- or herself
        wearing a WHITE judogi.
    •   Every contestant that had won a medal must attend the ceremony and receive the
        medal in person. If a contestant is absent during the awards ceremony because a
        non-valid reason, he or she will lose his or her right to the medal.
    •   It is strictly forbidden for the contestants to step up onto the podium carrying their
        national flags or similar identifications.
    •   It is also forbidden any religious, political, personal or comercial demonstration, or
        to do it wearing some cap, a head cober or any other accessory.

    •   According to IJF’s valid regulation.

•   Each participant has the obligation to wear on the back of his or her judogi an
    embroidered patch with the last name ans country abbreviation.

•   Patches must be fixed evenly and centered on the back part of the judogis. They must
    be 3cm away from lapel lower parts. Patches can be obatined from sites:
    www.ijfbacknumber.com o www.mybacknumber.com

•   Patches are each Federation’s responsibility. Not complying with this requirement could
    lead to the judoka´s disqualification from the competition.

•   According to IJF valid regulation

•   Training shedules will be given upon check-in at the oficial hotel

The anti-doping control will include in each category:
      •a. the winner of the category
      •b. one of the three other medal winners

As per draw (for b) carried out in accordance with the Anti-doping Rules and S.O.R. of
the IJF. The competitors have to report to the Doping Control Station not later tan 60
minutes after signed Notification Form, in wrtiting by the Physician mandated by the
IJF must follow the indications leading them to the check staton. In that period of 60
minutes, the athletes are allowed to take part in the awards ceremony and to fill their
press commitments. They will be constantly accompanied by an oficial chaperone from
the organization from the time they receive their notice until they reachthe Doping
Control Station. A person of their choice (team doctor, coach, delegation head,….) may

accompagy them.The draw is made during the competition before the start of the
    finals block.

    •   Organizers will provide delegations, free of extra-charge, transportation between
        the airport and oficial hotels, and from the oficial hotels to where scheduled
        activities for the tournament take place.

    •   The organization will not asume responsibility for transportation, if flight schedule
        information has not been provided in time, or has been changed without previous
        warning. Neither for activities other than those oficial at the tournament.

•   All Federations, their participating delegates, coaches and contestants at the
    Continental Open Santiago 2018 must respect and acept the organiaers’ authority, the
    organization’s Rules and Regulations, as well as the IJF’s refereeing regulations.

•   Those individuals that are found to have acted against IJF’s principles and purposes will
    be subject to suspensión or expulsion from the event and/or cancellation of their
    credential card.

ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORT
All the participants in the International Training Camp must stay in the official hotels of
the Lima Pan-American Open 2020. This is mandatory for the participation in the
training.
Transportation to the training venue and airport is included.
