We encourage you to enjoy the convenience of our online registration. Our online registration
system allows you to search and register for Recreation and Aquatic Programs 24 hours a day,
7 days a week from anywhere. If you wish to browse programs for session dates, locations and
prices, you may visit www.city-woodlandpark.org/home/parks-and-recreation/ and click on the
2019 Activities Guide. However, to enroll in programs and pay online, you must set up an account.
TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT
Existing Customer: You are an existing customer if you or another household member has
registered for a program or have completed a facility rental through the Parks and Recreation
Office or purchased a pass at the Woodland Aquatic Center.
To register for a program:
1. Go to www.wpparksandrecreation.org
2. Left hand side of page will have Register Now at the top, click this link.
3. Course Activities will be listed as follows Adult Programs, Adult Sports, Special Events,
Youth Programs, Youth Sports, Youth Sports League, Learn to Swim, and
Water Fitness.
4. Choose the tab you wish to register in and it will list current classes and sport offerings to
choose from.
5. Please make sure you are registering for the correct class regarding age, grade level, and/or
classification.
6. Once you have located your desired course, please click the blue Register Button under the
course name.
7. Please enter your email that is on file with our office and your password and click Sign In.
8. Choose the participant you are wanting to register for this course from the list of family
members provided and click Next. If you need to add a new family member not listed, please
click Add Member under My Account and fill out required information.
9. Click all waivers and agreements tabs and enter your Full Name and click Next.
10. Review and Submit page will show you all programs you have signed up for and you can click
Add to Cart.
11. Shopping Cart page will show all programs selected and you will click Checkout to proceed.
12. Click Enter Payment Info and enter your credit card information and click Next. We do not
save credit card information, so you will need a card every time you register.
13. Once your credit card is processed, you will be able to print your receipt and Sign Out.
New Customer: You are a new customer if you have never participated in Parks and Recreation
programs or purchased a pass at the Woodland Aquatic Center.
To set up an account, you can do one of the three listed below:
1. Call Parks and Recreation at 719-687-5225
2. Walk In: 204 West South Ave (Parks & Rec) or 111 North Baldwin St (Aquatic Center)
3. Complete an Account Setup Form and mail to PO Box 9007, Woodland Park, CO 80866
If you have any questions, please call us at 719-687-5225 during regular business hours and we
will be happy to walk you through the process.
Program fees are set to cover costs associated with the planning and scheduling of the program.
When you register, we depend on your enrollment for a successful program; please plan your
schedule carefully. Register at least one week prior to the first program class or by the registration
deadline for sports. We reserve the right to cancel a program due to limited enrollment.
Programs may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Cancellation of programs and activities due
to circumstances beyond our control will be rescheduled when possible.PARKS AND PROGRAM FACILITIES
DEVELOPED PARKS
Meadow Wood Sports Complex (MWSC): 2000 Evergreen Heights Drive. This 43.83-acre
park serves as the primary sports complex. Facilities include one synthetic turf baseball field,
two regulation size synthetic turf soccer fields, three lighted natural turf ball fields, playground
equipment, concession stand, ice/inline skating rink, four lighted tennis/pickleball courts
and fitness trail. This park is available for reservations.
Memorial Park: 200 North Park Street. This recently renovated 3.32-acre park includes a pavilion,
performance shelter, gazebo, 4 picnic shelters, picnic tables, playground equipment, basketball
court, pond with a fishing dock, interactive lazy river and concrete pathway. This park is available
for reservations.
Crestwood Park: 2010 Valley View Drive. This 4.33-acre park includes playground equipment,
half-court basketball, gazebo, picnic tables and fitness trail with fitness equipment.
Cavalier Park: 522 Woodland Avenue. This 1.5-acre park includes a playground, basketball court,
picnic tables and asphalt pathway.
Red Mountain Adventure Park: 1015 Evergreen Heights Drive. This 3.32-acre park provides fun
for the entire family; skaters and BMX riders will enjoy the 8,500 square-foot concrete skate park
and dirt BMX course; the less adventurous siblings can play at the playground while parents watch
both activities from the covered picnic shelter.

AP610: FRIDAY NIGHT CREATIVE CHILL
It’s Friday night and time to play! Join us for
a monthly series of no-pressure art classes for
adults where we will combine beautiful projects,
fun conversation, and relaxing music… with a
little wine on the side. We will explore acrylics,
watercolor, kirigami, alternative photography,
three-dimensional art, and many more media
and techniques. Age 21+. All materials and first

YP250: AMERICAN RED CROSS BABYSITTER’S BOOT CAMP
Babysitter’s Boot Camp prepares youth with the training every parent wants in a babysitter. Designed for
youth between the ages of 11-15, Babysitter’s Boot Camp gives babysitters the skills and confidence to
safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Through hands-on activities, interactive video, and lively
discussions, the course teaches young people how to care for children and infants, be good leaders and role
models, make good decisions and solve problems, keep children and themselves safe, handle emergencies,
and much more! Please pack a drink and snacks for breaks during class.

START SMART DEVELOPMENTAL SPORTS
The Start Smart Development Program is a proven instructional program that prepares young
children, between the ages of 3-5 years old, for the world of organized sports without the threat
of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work together with their children in a supportive
environment to learn all of the basic skills.
The benefits include building confidence and self-esteem, fun and positive experience, prepares for

FACILITY RULES
To ensure a comfortable, safe and enjoyable environment, please
be courteous and respectful of others.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Ages 5 and under: Must be accompanied at all times in the water within arm’s length by a
parent/guardian 16 years or older.
Ages 6 – 9 years: A parent/guardian 16 years or older must be actively observing children from
the deck. Non-swimmers should stay in shallow water with a parent/guardian who is in the water.
It is recommended that non-swimmers use a Coast Guard approved life jacket.
Ages 9 and under: To use the diving board, WIBIT, and deep end of the pool, children must pass
a swim test that includes successfully swimming 15 yards swimming in the prone position using
arm and leg actions for forward motion on top of the water.
All rules and regulations are subject to change without notice if deemed necessary for the safety and
comfort of patrons. Violations of these rules and unsafe behavior or failure to follow a lifeguard’s instruction
could result in temporary or permanent dismissal from the facility.
RENTALS
Birthday Party: Half the party room includes 2 tables and 12 chairs and 2 hours of swimming
for up to 12 guests plus the birthday child for $100. Whole party room includes 4 tables and
24 chairs and 2 hours of swimming for up to 24 guests plus the birthday child for $200.
Additional swimmers are $4 and additional non-swimmers are $3.
Room Rental: Looking for a meeting space? Half the room for $25 per hour includes 2 tables and
12 chairs or the whole room for $50 per hour includes 4 tables and 24 chairs.
Towel Rental: Forgot your towel? Rent one from us for $1.
Locker Rental: Lockers are available to rent in the Men’s and
Women’s locker rooms only. Monthly: $10 half locker or $15 full locker

TRAINING PROGRAMS
JUNIOR LIFEGUARD
Interested in becoming a lifeguard? The Junior Lifeguard program introduces the fundamentals of
lifeguarding and working in an aquatic environment during a four-week session. Learn basic water safety
skills, lifeguarding skills and health skills during each session. Participants will have the chance to shadow
on-duty lifeguards. To participate, you must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water. A parent participant
meeting will be held prior to the class. A full calendar of events and times will be provided at the meeting.
For ages 10-14 years old.
LIFEGUARD TRAINING
This class is aimed to teach the skills essential in becoming a professional lifeguard. One must be able
to recognize potential risks, work with the public, educate patrons in water safety and perform lifesaving
techniques. Students who successfully complete the American Red Cross course will receive certification in
Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid.
Participants must be 15 years of age by the last day of the class.
WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR (WSI)
The WSI is designed to introduce all levels of the American Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. It
emphasizes how to properly prepare for participants, effective teaching techniques and ideas on how to
motivate students to reach personal goals. Participants must be 16 years of age by the last day of class.You can also read
