            Remembrance Day Poppies
The ‘Poppy Squad’ - a small group of local volunteers, have
once again supported Poynton Town Council staff in putting
up Poynton’s poppies. The poppies were provided by Men in
Sheds a couple of years ago and continue to provide a sign
of respect to our fallen heroes.
Men in Sheds also created ‘John Henry’, Poynton’s lifesize
silhouette solider, which you see in the Civic Hall reception,
from where you can also get a Poppy Appeal poppy.
