Course Description
This course is designed to improve your clinical practice by providing diagnostic and management updates
to address gaps in practice encountered in primary care of children. The curriculum includes lectures and
workshops with an opportunity to discuss issues with clinical experts.

Course Objectives
Participants will be able to assess and utilize best practices in the office setting to:
• assess prevention and treatment of sports-related injuries
• diagnose and manage asthma
• diagnose and manage common urology issues
• discuss scope of developmental disorders including screening and management
• improve communication skills and management with adolescents regarding contraception and issues
    surrounding gun safety
