Stig Bareksten is known as one of Norway’s leading distillers of craft
spirits and has received many awards for previous products he has
launched. Bareksten is known as the founder of Det Norske
Brenneri, where he developed brands such as Arvesølvet and Harahorn
Gin.
He is a former Norwegian champion bartender. He has extensive
experience in the bar industry, both in Norway and abroad, and he
has worked with brands like The Macallan and The Famous Grouse.
Now Stig Bareksten is head Distiller and master blender at OSS Craft
Distillery, where he is also producing Bareksten Gin.

Bareksten Aquavit
Aquavit is a typical Scandinavian drink, produced from potatoes.
Bareksten Aquavit is based on the Botanical Gin but with the typical
characteristic of caraway and dill seed used in the distillation. Herbs are
added to the gin in the second distillation.Bareksten Aquavit has a
golden color after aging on sherry casks.
Bareksten Aquavit is not only used in the traditional Scandinavian way
but is very popular amongst bartenders to use as twist in (gin) cocktails.
Bareksten Aquavit combines very nicely with Ale beers for meat dishes.

Bareksten ILLsint Absint
Bareksten Illsint Absinth is spirit derived from botanicals with the main
characteristics of the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium
("grand wormwood"), and some medicinal and culinary herbs.
Bareksten Illsint Absint has the typical anise flavour but is smooth and easy.
In history absinthe had a negative association but it is just misunderstood.
A revival of absinthe began after the European Union removed long-
standing barriers to its production and sale.

Bareksten Old Tom Gin
Old Tom Gin is used by bartenders in the cocktail scene. Old Tom Gin
recipe existence since 18th century. With the resurgence of the
"Craft Cocktail movement” this gin became popular again. Traditionally
cocktails as the Martinez or Tom Collins are built with Old Tom Gin.
This gin has more subtle nuances and does not overwhelm with the
juniper influence. Bareksten Old Tom Gin is slightly sweeter than
the Botanical Gin.

Jack Ryan whiskey
Launched to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the
Beggars Bush being family run, Jack Ryan’s Whiskey
brand has recreated the atmosphere and flavour of
‘Ryan’s Malt’ which they produced in association with
Dublin Whiskey Distillery until this famous distillery
closed its doors in 1946. Jack Ryan’s premium Irish
whiskey was distilled in the Cooley Distillery.
Jack Ryan ‘Beggars Bush’ Single Malt Irish Whiskey 46%
has been aged for 12 years, with no chill filtration,
allowing the true flavours of the whiskey to be retained.
The whiskey has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels
hand-picked by the family themselves, to deliver a unique
taste.

The story
John Ryan crafted in the 1820’s Limerick Distillery (Walker’s).
Son Michael carried on in Birch’s Roscrea and supplied barley from the
nearby home place in Toomevara. His own son Thomas set off for 1890’s
Dublin, and after a long vintner’s apprenticeship started independent
sourcing and finishing of the finest of Irish single malt, culminating in
Ryan’s Malt (supplied around the city and in his own pubs, starting with
the first – the iconic Beggars Bush – bought in 1913 and still in the
family). Jack Ryan, Dublin man-about-town, whiskey man and publican
par excellence, honed the craft further, till the near demise of Irish
whiskey brought a hiatus. Eunan revived the family tradition in 2013,
to award-winning effect, and the next generation is now involved.
The Finisher’s Touch
Jack Ryan 12YO is a bright gold spirit with intense tropical fruit aromas.
The palate is smooth and oily textured. Even at the full 46% it is soft and easy
to drink. Flavours of fresh pineapple, lemon, oranges, marmalade and
ginger snaps with some honey and oak. The finish becomes more malty
and biscuity with the oak flavours also shining through.
The Jack Ryan Whiskey Co plans annual small batches, and CS and cask
releases, using their finisher’s touch through traditional and novel
finishes and collaborations.

Introducing the first release from the Heytesbury Rum Collection. This is a 2003
Distilled Guyana Demerara Rum from the Diamond Distillery matured in
Bourbon Casks for 15 years by one of the best finishers from Ireland.
Heytesbury Rum has an impressive mix of dark brown sugar turned thick
syrup and complex mocha tinted spice but still thickly layered in dark rich syrup -
subtle, bewildering.

Helix is crafted by blending, for the first time ever, French Spirits, derived from the
golden wheat fields of Champagne, with the world’s finest water from Iceland to
create an Ultra Premium Vodka. It’s this unique DNA that was the inspiration
behind the name Helix, which is the name of the shapes in a DNA thread.
The highest quality wheat from the Champage region of France is sourced.
Helix Vodka is distilled 7 times than shipped to Iceland where it’s carbon filtered
and blended with Icelandic water. The Icelandic water has a very low mineral
content and a high alkaline level which ensures a clean crisp taste.
Iceland water allows a cirtus taste from the wheat with a smooth creamy finish.
Helix develloped a fun sign language to order a Helix cocktail. To emphasis the
thought of sustainability, a repurposed packaging is develloped to use as coasters.

began long ago. In the spring of 1806 James Gosling, the
eldest son of William Gosling, wine and spirits merchant,
set out from England on the ship “the Mercury”, with

desperate days on becalmed seas their charter ran out, and
they put in at the nearest port, St. George’s, Bermuda. And
the rest, as they say, is history. Delicious, deep, dark history.

Founded in 1997, Jefferson’s is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller
and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. They were
continuing a family tradition that goes back to Trey’s 8th
generation grandmother who was arrested in 1799 for the
“production and sales of spirituous liquors.”
To personify the brand, they chose Thomas Jefferson, known for
his curiosity and experimental spirit. This is a mindset to which

Clontarf 1014 Irish Whiskey is named after the famous Battle
of Clontarf in 1014. It uses only the most premium ingredients:

15%) and column-stilled grain whiskey.
Triple-distilled and filtered through Atlantic Oak charcoal to
provide a pure, clean and distinctive taste. Aged for at least four

insight into the wine and spirits industry.
The barrel program offers unique attributes: Initial maturation

Made from single estate first flush Darjeeling Tea, the
springtime harvest which produces a delicate and floral
Himalayan black tea, known to tea-lovers as the
‘Champagne of Tea’. Single estate tea indicates the tea
is picked from a single source and selected by
master tea sommelier Ajit Madan.
As well as subtle flavours from Darjeeling tea the gin
contains flavours of juniper, lemon, grapefruit, coriander,
ginger, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon and angelica. The single
pot still distillation creates a bolder style of gin that works
fantastically in highball drinks such as G&T’s or Collins,
and even more in a Classic Martini with a twist of grapefruit.

oak barrels. The oak barrels give Reposado a mellowed taste, pleasing bouquet,

Jack Rudy is a Classic Tonic Syrup wth essentially a quinine
concentrate. It’s designed to pair with your favorite Gin or Vodka,
and is then stretched with soda water to make a bright, light,
refreshing highball.
With a backbone of quinine, culled from the Cinchona Tree,
a delicate mix of botanicals is added, and then sweetened
it with real cane sugar; the final product is a complex mixture
that introduces a fine bitterness to any cocktail, and a great
pairing with the botanicals of the finest Gins in the world.
