employees worldwide. The expanding 250,000m2 manufacturing facility in Oranienburg Germany is ORAFOL headquarters.

Practical Information
ORAFOL® Floor Graphics Systems
Preliminary Remarks
ORAFOL® Floor Graphics Systems consist of a film especially developed for this purpose by ORAFOL® , and an ORAGUARD® film with
an antiskid surface. ORAFOL® Floor Graphics Systems are suitable for application to most floor materials. Problems may only occur
when applied to uneven, porous or painted floors treated with floor polish or cleaned with water additives or to PVC, carpets or
marble floors .
ORAFOL® recommend using only material with the same batch number for one graphical application. When different batch
numbers are used the technician should make tests to find out possible differences in using the films and in the quality of the
graphical application .
Cleaning of the Floor
Each surface to which a film is to be applied needs to be cleaned with a suitable solvent removing any grease before applying the
floor graphics system. We recommend the use of isopropyl alcohol (Isopropanol). The floor must completely dry off before applying
the film .
Application
The film is applied in a dry state. Remove the protective paper completely and apply the film by pressing it strongly against the floor.
Apply big overlapping sweeps of a squeegee across the surface of the laminate to avoid the formation of gas bubbles between
the graphic floor system and the floor. We recommend an overlap of the system’s laminate at the edges of at least 2cm. Check the
edges and press them again forcefully against the floor after you have completed the application.
Please Note:
The edges of the system should not be applied to protruding surfaces such as stair nosings or crevices. The edges of the films must
never end up in a tile joint or crevice between parquet deals. Do not step on the floor for at least 30 minutes in order to ensure
sufficient adhesion.
Cleaning After Application
Wait at least 24 hours before cleaning the floor after application.
Removal of the Film
Remove the floor graphics system at a 90° angle starting from one corner.
ORAFOL® Floor Graphics Systems are easily removable. If properly applied, the system will not leave behind any adhesive residues.
In some cases, the part of the floor which had been covered by the film may display a somewhat different colour shade than the
surrounding area. This is due to the fact that the uncovered part of the floor has been exposed longer to the UV radiation of the sun.
