Sterile veterinary poultice dressing. Excellent absorbency.
Free from added chemicals. Size of dressing: 20 x 40cm.
Contains no boric acid.
How to apply hot dressing
Pour boiled water into a shallow container and cool to 37°C. Cut the dressing
to the size and shape required and place in the water.
When saturated, remove from the water and squeeze out excess liquid. Place
over the affected area with the shiny side away from the skin.
Secure with a bandage.
How to apply cold dressing
Soak the dressing in boiled water as described above, and let the dressing
cool completely. Apply to affected area. The dressing can also be chilled in
the refrigerator and kept in the bag.
Wound Care
How to apply dry dressing
Apply to the affected area and secure with a bandage. Avoid applying the
bandage too tightly. Always apply with shiny side away from the skin.

Due to high demand from veterinarians in Australia and New Zealand, Riverpoint have introduced a new range of surgical
sutures to their already extensive suture portfolio. These are purpose built sutures with ideal applications of Bovine, Equine,
Ovine, Swine and other large animals.
This new range of sutures features larger sized needles swaged onto larger USP sutures. This provides a solution for the
surgical challenges that come with large animal surgeries where the needles need to be substantial enough to penetrate the
skin, and the suture thick enough for suitable retention.
Included in this range is a selection of absorbable and non-absorbable large animal sutures swaged onto the Riverpoint
300™ Premium Suture needles in larger sizes.
