PROPOSED ITINARY FOR THE BOURNEMOUTH FESTIVAL

GENERAL INFORMATION FESTIVAL
The event is conveniently scheduled to take place during the
school Easter break to guarantee the maximum uptake from
your club.
Your accommodation is at the popular Sandford Holiday
Park which has plenty of onsite amenities to keep your
group entertained! These include a heated indoor pool,
tennis, table tennis, short mat bowls, crazy golf, multisport
court for basketball and football, 2 outdoor play areas with
a climbing wall and amusement arcade with Tenpin
Bowling! The parks also offer a variety of restaurants and an
excellent evening entertainment program.
The Bournemouth Mini & Junior Festival is one of the largest
and well established rugby event of its kind in the UK and
attracts teams from across the UK.
The rugby is formatted so that all teams who participate will
enjoy the maximum amount of rugby possible under the
RFU regulations. There is always a great atmosphere here
with touring teams from around the UK combining with
local teams and of course the hosts Bournemouth RFC.
FRIDAY 17th APRIL 2020 With Friday being a school holiday your group can travel down in the morning and enjoy the onsite facilities such as the indoor pool. You can then check in to your accommodation from 4pm. The remainder of the day and night free to explore the park and use your leisure and entertainment passes. The Burleigh Travel reception party has now become a legendary event to help the tour organiser and their coaches kick off their weekend in style, and will give you a chance to meet up, and socialise with the representatives from the other touring teams and to meet the Burleigh Travel Staff while enjoying complimentary food and drink. SUNDAY 18th APRIL 2020 – BOURNEMOUTH MINI FESTIVAL Today you will take part in the Bournemouth Junior Festival in the impressive grounds of Bournemouth Rugby Club. There will be food available throughout the day and once the tournament is complete and prizes awarded you will return to your accommodation to continue your celebrations.
SUNDAY 19th APRIL 2020 – BOURNEMOUTH MINI FESTIVAL Today you will take part in the Bournemouth Mini Festival in the impressive grounds of Bournemouth Rugby Club. There will be food available throughout the day and once the festival is complete you will return to your accommodation to continue your celebrations. MONDAY 20th APRIL 2020 After checking out of your accommodation the day is free to make the most of the parks facilities, before you begin your journey home.

your assistance in making our tour one of the best we have ever had. It ran without a hitch and
everyone has complimented how well organised it was, how great the complex was for all their
needs, what fun and how well the festivals went plus you gave us sunshine!!!
We all had 2 days of great rugby, filled with lots of fun, trophies, tries and tackles!!
We will in no doubt not hesitate to consider Burleigh Travel in the future and will recommend
you to other age groups and clubs where possible.
If you could let me know what are options are and where/cost etc for next year that would be a
start.
