REUSE RESOURCES
Create value in our community
Empower Up is a local non-profit organization that accepts donated computers
and electronics from the public and businesses. Volunteers and staff then refurbish or
recycle these items. Sales from the reuse store and from recycling operations provide
the funds for Empower Up to fulfill its mission of protecting the environment and
enhancing communities. In partnership with multiple organizations, Empower Up
provides growth opportunities through skills training and entry-level job experience.

Empower Up recycled 148 tons of electronic waste in 2013 and currently accepts
clean, dry, white #6 block foam from Clark County residents. The organization is
always looking for volunteers interested in learning how to evaluate and process
electronic products. For more information visit empowerup.org
