BENCH AND BAR CONFERENCE
FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2019
CHASE CENTER ON THE RIVERFRONT
WILMINGTON, DE
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to attend and participate in the Annual Bench and
Bar Conference being held this year at the Chase Center on the Riverfront
on Friday, June 14, 2019. This annual tradition is one of the events that make
our Bar one of the best in the nation. This event offers you the opportunity
to catch up with attorneys and members of the Bench you may not have
been able to see or speak to on a regular basis. Our close legal community
will only remain that way if we get together for events like this.
Not only will you have an opportunity to speak with colleagues in the Bench and Bar, but you will
enjoy some great food and obtain credits for the excellent CLE programs that are scheduled for
this year. You will also enjoy the presentation of our Keynote Speaker, Brigadier General John
Baker, Chief Defense Counsel for the Military Commissions Defense Organization who oversees
defense services to Guantanamo Bay detainees. This year’s event will include, as always, a short
business meeting for the election of next year’s officers and the passing of the gavel to incoming
President, William P. Brady, and the presentation of awards to well-deserved recipients.
Please take a few hours out of your busy schedule to participate in this wonderful and enjoyable
event. I look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
David J. Ferry, Jr., Esquire
President
