A liturgia do 12º Domingo do Tempo Comum diz-nos que, ao longo da sua caminhada pela terra, o homem não está perdi-
do, sozinho, abandonado à sua sorte; mas Deus caminha ao seu lado, cuidando dele com amor de pai e oferecendo-lhe a
cada passo a vida e a salvação.
Pimeira Leitura- Job 38,1.8-11
A primeira leitura fala-nos de um Deus majestoso e omnipotente, que domina a natureza e que tem um plano perfeito e
estável para o mundo. O homem, na sua pequenez e finitude, nem sempre consegue entender a lógica dos planos de Deus;
resta-lhe, no entanto, entregar-se nas mãos de Deus com humildade e com total confiança.
Segunda Leitura- 2 Cor 5,14-17
A segunda leitura garante-nos que o nosso Deus não é um Deus indiferente, que deixa os homens abandonados à sua sorte.
A vinda de Jesus ao mundo para nos libertar do egoísmo que escraviza e para nos propor a liberdade do amor mostra que o
nosso Deus é um Deus interveniente, que nos ama e que quer ensinar-nos o caminho da vida.
