                                                          Introduction

The SIP is a planning tool designed to address student achievement and system needs identified through the school's
comprehensive needs assessment (CNA). Additionally, the SIP provides a method for schools to address the school
improvement planning requirements of Public Act 25 of the Revised School Code and the Elementary and Secondary
Education Act (ESEA) as applicable.

Goal 1: MS2TC/MSVPA staff will develop and implement community outreach activities.

Measurable Objective 1:
collaborate to generate meaningful relationships with community members through outreach activities by 06/14/2019 as measured by parent and student attendance
at social events and survey results.

Strategy 1:
Strong Communication - Develop and implement strong patterns of communication with community members and district partner schools. Communication will occur
through timely email communication about upcoming events; information updated regularly on teacher and program websites; develop email groups to parents to send
out weekly blasts of events taking place within the program(s); use of Remind 101 as a program reminder of upcoming events; timely phone calls and parent meetings
to intervene on behalf of struggling students; press releases when appropriate to showcase teacher and students achievements. Research points to the value of strong
communication of focus, high expectations for all students, effective school shared leadership, high levels of collaboration and communication; curriculum alignment
and the power of forming strong connections between school, family, and community connections on student achievement.

collaborate to generate units of study that expose students to thematic, project-based learning experiences that forge strong interpersonal relationships and challenge
students to employ depth of knowledge levels 3 and 4. by 06/14/2019 as measured by students' individual and collect performances on daily assignments, weekly
quizzes, team and school-wide projects prepared in each MS2TC/MSVPA course..

Strategy 1:
Effectively use Common Planning - Teachers will effectively use common planning time to unpack power standards with the intention of establishing strong cognitive
