Dear Caravan Owner
All too soon it is time to start thinking of the end of
the season, after a summer where we have all felt
the benefit of some extraordinary record breaking
sunshine! The HDHH team have worked hard
throughout the year to help you get the most out of
your holiday home. Anthony who joined the site
team just before the season started has fitted in
well, to many of you he will be a familiar face having
worked in Arches for many years. Yvonne and Rod
who tend to the flora and fauna around the sites
and for the Pub have become part of our hard
working team and their work ensures the site looks
colourful and welcoming for all.
We have had another very busy season within Arches, with
many of you becoming regulars to come and enjoy our
afternoon Bingo sessions which have filled the pub! It has
been a hive of activity throughout the summer with live
entertainment to be enjoyed nightly, Karaoke, cash bingo,
kid’s entertainment and so much more!
A huge thank you to Terie and her team who all work There have been many Karaoke stars throughout the season
incredibly hard to make sure that Arches is the best it can be but there is still time to warm up your vocals if you want to try
for your enjoyment and downtime with family and friends. and win a place in the Grand Final which will be held on
Saturday 12th October.
We are proud that we have been able to continue serving our
premium Happy Hour products at exceptionally great value The Karaoke King or Queen will win a grand prize of £500
prices all-day, every day! with runner up prizes of £300 & £150. Come along and
support your favourite!
Don’t forget we are open all year through, so if you’re staying
onsite until the site closes come and join us; our BT Sport,
Daily Newspapers, Holiday Library and Free Wi-Fi continue
every day we are open.
Fundraising
A reminder that this year we are raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, a worthy charity suggested
by one of our owners at the end of last year.
Our fundraising thermometer has been reaching towards boiling point all summer, with money coming
in from our Charity BBQ’s and Yvonne’s knitted elephants and badges and her filled rolls; currently we
are on track to break all of our fundraising totals. A special thanks to Yvonne for the tremendous effort
and generosity she gives in her support to raise money for our charity every year and for all the
numerous other things she does behind the scenes!
