¾ of all risk managers include climate change in relevant risks for their com-
panies. Regulatory requirements, climate-related changes in infrastructure,
population growth, and capital flows impact the value of existing and planned
assets. Baringa Partners has worked with clients to develop a model that iden-
tifies and measures risk for individual companies.

                LIMITS OF MARKET DEVELOPMENT
Like other nations, Austria wants to become a notable player in the hydrogen
market. With Voestalpine, RAG Austria, Verbund and OMV, several large compa-
nies have already initiated first pilot projects. But how high is the potential in
the country really? Which sectors are suitable for hydrogen use? And when can
we expect political guidelines for increasing the use of hydrogen? This will be
                discussed in the Web Session.

Wednesday,

                ENERGY SUPPLY IN COMPARISON
In the new publication of the World Energy Council - Germany "Projections and
Scenarios for Global Energy Supply in Comparison", the focus is on interpreting
the future. Energy scenarios and forecasts are not prophecies, yet they provide
orientation for decision-makers in business and politics, for science and for
society in general. They help to identify and classify global trends.
The authors of the analysis, Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Schiffer and Burkhard von Kienitz
                will present the results.

Tuesday,

13:00 – 15:00 THE NEW GENERATION OF ENERGY ECOSYSTEMS
16:00 – 18:00 Not only our ecological environment is changing, but also our energy systems
in order to accommodate the changes in the former with sustainable and inno-
vative solutions. In this event, experts will discuss the associated complexity
management. The necessary complexity management will be discussed with
experts with regards to standardization and norms.

12:00 – 12:50 ACHIEVING CLIMATE GOALS: AI FOR INTELLIGENT BUIL-
DING CONTROL AND OPTIMIZING ENERGY CONSUMPTION
The German government has presented a 2030 climate protection program to
achieve the climate goals. The use of autonomous decision-making systems
will become even more important for energy producers and suppliers as well
as heating manufacturers in the future to reach the goals. Signal Cruncher has
developed its own AI in this field, which can help to reduce energy consumption
by centrally controlling the heat supply.

12:00 – 12:50 UPGRADING SMART HOME? HOW GAMIFICATION
                    INCREASES CUSTOMER LOYALTY
How can people be informed and motivated to save energy? And is there a way
not to annoy those customers and to keep them? You just need to “make it fun”!
In this Lunch Break, the experts from eleks will further explain this idea and re-
veal a product concept that seeks to add an added brand dimension to the smart
energy and smart home industry with gamification tactics.

  12:00 – 12:50 FIELD REPORT: AI-BASED IMAGE RECOGNITION
                    IN THE ENERGY INDUSTRY
Is Artificial Intelligence technology finding its place in the energy industry?
Definitely yes! It is not only since the studies of the past years on "AI in the
energy industry" that the technology proves that an applicability in the indus-
try can be of great benefit. New fields of application for the energy industry are
also emerging in the field of image processing.

THE BACKBONE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SUPPLY?!
Renewable energies are increasingly the mainstay of the energy system, but the
current electricity market design does not reflect the renewable world. What
are effects and consequences of the current electricity market? This and other
questions will be discussed by the BEE with experts in this panel discussion.

                                                                                                         10

The parties have named their top candidates for the German Federal
Elections. Most of the election programmes have also been drawn up: There is
a lot in them about the expansion of renewable energies, climate protection
or the ramp-up of hydrogen technology. But where do the parties' proposals
differ? Energy politicians will answer your questions.
