Fit for the future Based in the charming natural environment of the Steigerwald forest, we have developed into one of the leading business enterprises and a key factor in the economic and commercial life of Germany’s Lower Franconia region. Our activities are focused on the production of natural health products such as tea varieties, spices and cosmetics. The result is that natural health products, medicinal and herbal teas, high-quality spices and cosmetics featuring natural constituents have become exceptionally popular among consumers – a fact reflected in the extensive offerings of such products in grocery stores, chemist’s and supermarkets. Founded in 1982, Abtswinder Naturheilmittel GmbH & Co. KG specializes in the production of herbal remedies for self-medication and the manufacture of foods and cosmetics on a natural basis. Our maxims are good service, expert advice and trust. As a leading producer of natural products, we are aware of and take very seriously our responsibility towards people and nature – and attach great priority to ensuring and maintaining optimal product safety and quality. Quality without compromise We manufacture our medicinal, herbal and fruit tea varieties, natural health products, cosmetics with natural constituents, food supplements, spices and spice blends with the utmost care, in accordance with the respectively applicable statutory regulations and subject to a rigorous quality assurance system. We are GMP and IFS certified. Forward-looking working methods and error prevention at the very earliest stage are characteristic features of our quality management. We fill products into bags, tins, bottles, jars and tubes.

Raw materials from all over the world Raw materials from all continents arrive at our premises almost daily. We purchase them from selected, reliable suppliers in Germany who meet our demanding quality requirements. Our rose hips originate from South America, our hibiscus from Africa, our mate and lapacho from Brazil, our chilies from Asia or Africa, our paprika from Hungary, our wild apples from Eastern Europe, and our black and green teas from Ceylon, China, India and Kenya. All the raw materials we use are carefully stored at the appropriate temperatures, protected against light and correspondingly labelled until further processed. We provide healthy products from natural sources.
