Dear Society Organiser, In this pack you will find information on the Golf Packages that Chobham Golf Club has to offer. Societies are welcome Monday to Friday for 12 or more players. Chobham is an 18 hole, par 69 course designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, among the many attractive features of the course are six strategically placed man-made lakes and many established trees that give it maturity beyond its years. The course has become one of the finest of the newer courses in the area, given its beautiful setting in naturally undulating land, mature oaks and secluded location. At Chobham Golf club we thrive on helping you to create the perfect day and feel that with our experience we can help you achieve that. Our staff are experienced in organising and running golfing events throughout the year. Our attention to detail helps you to professionally organise your event giving all your guests that special sense of occasion from arrival right through to their departure. We can tailor all of our packages to suit your needs and budget. You will find our menus attached, we require one choice for the whole group and menus must be confirmed 14 days prior to your day. For Societies of 25 or more we are able to offer a carvery option for your meal. We require confirmation of your final numbers 5 days in advance of your day. Please make your members aware of our dress code and mobile phone policy prior to arrival to avoid any embarrassment on the day. Our Pro-Shop will be happy to organise for you, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive markers and can offer a wide range of prizes or products that can be personalised with your Company logo if required. 1. All Society bookings please call the office on 01276 855584 or email
info@chobhamgolfclub.co.uk
2. Complete the enclosed booking form and return it to the Club with £100
deposit to confirm your day. This is a non-refundable deposit should you
cancel your golf day.
3. Five days before your booked date please confirm exact numbers of
players (Note: This will be the minimum number you pay for). Full
payment will be taken on the day. Please make cheques payable to
Chobham Golf Club Ltd.
4. Tee times are in 4 balls at 8 minute intervals.
Note: Please ensure that all players tee off at the agreed times.
5. We have soft spikes policy between May and October; please ensure that
your members are aware of this.
6. Dress Code: Please see attached page advising of our dress code policy.
7. We have trolleys and buggies for hire.

We respectfully ask that all Members and Visitors adhere to our dress code at all
times.
On the Course
(including the putting green and practice ground)
• No jeans, denim or tracksuits allowed
• Caps to be worn with peaks forward
• Shirts must be tucked into trousers or shorts and must have a collar
• T-shirts, beachwear, rugby or football shirts are not acceptable
• Casual cargo/multi–pocketed type trousers or shorts are not permitted
• When worn with shorts, socks or ankle socks should be predominately white (unless knee length)
• Trousers must not be tucked into socks
• Golf shoes only – soft spikes preferred
Ladies only
• Tailored waist length golf shirts or blouses may be worn over trousers, shorts, skirts or skorts
In the Clubhouse
(including the patio)
• Clean, presentable denim jeans may be worn in the clubhouse (not ripped or distressed)
• Clean golf footwear may be worn anywhere in the clubhouse but golf shoes that have metal or
soft spikes can ONLY be worn in the “Spikes Bar” area
• Trainers or open toed sandals may be worn anywhere in the clubhouse
• Beach flip-flops and crocs are unacceptable
• No caps or hats to be worn in the clubhouse
• Men’s collared shirts should be worn and should be tucked in
• T-shirts, track suits, beachwear, rugby or football shirts are not acceptable
• Wet and muddy clothing or footwear is not acceptable
• Socks are not compulsory
• Trousers must not be tucked into socks
• Industrial work clothing is considered unacceptable in the bar and restaurant area unless such
attire is being worn to perform a role in which the individual has been engaged in by the club

Mobile Phones
Mobile devices should not be used in the clubhouse for receiving or making calls except for emergencies.
Mobile devices can be used for photography/recording videos, receiving or making text messages and
internet usage provided the device used is on silent.It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that his/her guests are aware of the
standard etiquette of golf.
Here are some simple rules that will make your round more enjoyable
Do not play your shot until players in front are out of range.
When looking for a ball, call players behind through immediately if you cannot find your
ball
Replace all divots and repair all pitchmarks
Rake over all footprints in bunkers
Handle flagsticks with care to avoid damage to greens
When you have finished the hole leave green immediately and mark your card on the next
tee
Be ready to play your next shot as soon as it is your turn
Help to keep the course clean and please put litter in the bins provided
PACE OF PLAY
• To ensure maximum enjoyment for all golfers, members of the society must adhere
to Chobham Golf Club recommended pace of play which is 4hrs for 18 holes.
• In the event of, frost, snow, fog or heavy rain during the days prior to your event,
please contact the office 01276 855584 the day before and the morning of your event
