[ EDITORIAL ]
Dear students,
As a new academic year begins, all of us at Université de Nantes are pleased
to welcome students especially those who have just received their high
school diploma.
Every year, there are more than 37,000 students preparing one of our 164
degrees within one of our 20 components. Owing to the recent public health
issues, we have had to introduce exceptional plans to make it possible to
bring back students while respecting social distancing. Nonetheless, we
invite you to get your bearings on campus and discover all the facilities and
services on offer. Our teams are on hand every day to ensure you can enjoy
the best possible conditions. The future depends on educating young people
and fostering innovation and research. Our university is proud and happy to
welcome you among us this year and our aim is clear: to create conditions
that enable each and every student to thrive and find fulfilment.
Pursuing a degree, whether in a university program, a technical or vocational
field, always requires a strong personal investment. Whatever your goal may
be, all of us at Université de Nantes are committed to helping you carry it out
