  competence
• Services we provide: Writing Centre, Didaktische
  Werkstatt Sprachen (A310), Self-access center
  for learning languages (A 308), tutorials for all
  introductory courses, remedial courses

• We expect you to go abroad (see MHB)
• We think this is absolutely necessary for your
  professional development
• Is the experience of a lifetime

  funded by the EU /DAAD or as a teaching
  assistant

BM 1 consists of 3 courses, all of which are
central for the written part of the
intermediate exam (Vorprüfung):
  – Introduction to the English Language
  – The Teaching of English as a Foreign
    Language (primary / secondary)
  – Introduction to Literary Studies
