Entry Requirements
Commencement
Semester 1 (February) or Semester 2 (July) each year

Academic Entry Requirements
   • Successfully completed bachelor degree in the same discipline (Event,
     Hospitality, Hotel and Tourism) with an average grade of at least 4.5 out of 7 (4
     = pass) UQ standard;
   • Successfully completed a minimum 1 year of study in Master program at
     NKUHT School of Tourism (Travel and Tourism Management) with a passing
     average grade or above

Field of study
    • For students who have previously undertaken studies in tourism, hospitality or
       tourism, entry will only be considered for a field not already studied.

MTHEM Work-integrated Learning Experience
UQ Business School is the only school in Australia that offers tourism
programs with UNWTO accreditation, and is one of the world’s top-ranked
universities for tourism research.

    Professional Experience (TOUR7040) capstone course includes a
    compulsory industry focused/project based consultancy group
    placement. The group placement gives students the opportunity to
    experience working in teams, similarly to real world jobs. You will be
    given a real industry issue to tackle as a group.
