4K – 2nd Grade will be at Hartland North Elementary School

Sessions are week long.
This year classes will run every day for one week except for the Enrichment classes which
will run for two 3-week sessions. Every week there will be some new options to choose
from. Please only sign up for the weeks you know your children will be able to attend.

Registration Information:
• Current students: Online registration only – please use your Skyward Family Access to register
• All courses with fees must be paid in full before registration will be accepted. E-funds payment option is
preferred, otherwise mail your checks to the attention of Maureen Lawler:

• Non-resident fees are set at $10.00 per class.
• Non-resident families need to contact Maureen Lawler at mlawler@hartlake.org or (262) 369-6780
for registration.
• Online registration begins April 11th. Classes will have caps on enrollment, so please register early.
Registrations must be completed by June 1st.
• Classes that have less than 10 students may be cancelled and students will be notified to select another class.
Afternoon Camp will be held at Hartland North Elementary School
The Village of Hartland will run afternoon camps from 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Hartland North. Students
must be 6 years old to attend this camp. Students attending summer school at North Shore Middle School
will be bussed to Hartland North for the Afternoon Camp. To register for afternoon camp please contact the
Village of Hartland directly at 262-367-0352. Camp information will be added to the website soon.
1Summer School Online Registration Instructions
Online Registration begins on Monday, April 11th at 10:00 A.M. and ends on Tuesday, June 1st at 10:00
P.M. Register early as all classes have enrollment caps and are closed when full. There are no wait lists for
closed classes.
*Please Note: Online registration is for students currently in Grades 4K through 7 in the Hartland/Lakeside
School system. All other students please contact Maureen Lawler at either mlawer@hartlake.org or 262-369-
6780, for a login and password to sign up for classes.
1. To view the Summer Splash class booklet, log on to the Hartland/Lakeside website at www.hartlake.org,
from the Parents tab, click on the Summer School tab.
2. To sign up for classes, log on to the Hartland/Lakeside website at www.hartlake.org, from the Parents tab,
click on Family Access and log in using your Skyward username and password.
3. Click on the Arena Scheduling tab on the left - you will see your child/children’s names in the drop down
box. Click on the 2021-22 under the name of the child you want to pick classes for.
4. Click the Add button in front of the class you would like to enroll in. Click the remove button to remove a
class from your child’s schedule.

25. Clicking on the Arrows at the bottom of the page gives you more selections. The cost of each class is listed
under Subject. Seats Avail tells you how many seats are available for the class. If the class is full, you will
need to pick a different class. There are no wait lists for classes.
6. When you have picked all the classes you want for the weeks your children will attend, click on the
View/Print Schedule tab to verify your student’s schedule. If your selected classes are correct, click on the
“X” at the top in the right-hand corner to return to the previous page.
7. Once you have picked the classes you want for the weeks your children will attend, you are ready to
submit the classes for this child. Click on the Submit Schedule tab, verify your child’s schedule again and
then click Submit Schedule. Print out a copy of your child’s schedule to bring along on the first day. Click
the “X” to close the small window. You can now register your next student. Go to the Arena Scheduling tab
and select your next child.
8. The last step is paying for your classes. The preferred method of payment is E-funds. After logging into
E-funds, go to the Summer Splash tab under Schools and Add a payment. Payment can also be made by
check. Total fees for all summer school classes, for your whole family, can be paid with one check. Send
one copy of your child’s/children’s schedule(s) with the check made out to Hartland/Lakeside Schools and
marked summer school to the District Office, Attention: Maureen Lawler. Payment must be made at the
time of registering for classes.

Please select classes based on your child’s CURRENT grade level as of Jan. 1, 2022.
4K/5K ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Enrichment classes are designed to extend and enrich student learning throughout the summer, so that students
are ready to enter the next grade level with the skills, strategies, and knowledge needed to be successful.
Enrichment classes are open to all students who are currently enrolled in the district who want to sign up. If
you would like your child to take the enrichment classes, please sign up for those first. You can then fill in the
gaps with the classes listed in the non-enrichment section. When signing up for enrichment classes, remember
that they run for 3 weeks.

ABC Adventures Teacher: B. Armstrong
This class is a great way to keep practicing letters and sounds during the summer months. Each day $0.00
we will read a different alphabet book and participate in centers with games, crafts, and activities to
review letters, sounds, and word making skills.
All A’Board Teacher: A. Neustifter
Come along and learn new card and board games that you can play with your friends and family! We $0.00
will learn the rules and enjoy playing these games, with your peers, throughout the week!
Alphabet Fun Teacher: H. Weil
A is for apple, B is for book. Students will practice printing the letters in their names and coming up $0.00
with a different word that starts with each letter through various arts and crafts.

A lot can happen in 60 seconds. Come join the fun in Minute to Win it. This class will be filled with $0.00
exciting fine motor, large motor, and mental challenges that must be completed in one minute. Come
cheer on your friends as we enjoy some friendly competition!

Help tend our school garden while learning how seeds grow, what we can do to help them along, and $0.00
how to tell plants apart. (This is an outside class and students should come dressed to be outside and
dirty!)
Play-Doh Fun Teacher: L. Nekich
Imaginative play for children. Kids can mold, shape, cut and more while socializing with children in $3.00
the same age group. Children can use accessories and molds to create meals, faces, decorate a party
cake or create jungle friends! Roll, pat or press a body shape using Play-Doh and let the fun begin as
you add eyes, ears, a nose and mouth. Or maybe it’s all ears, or half animal, half human. The

Our staff will divide the students into groups and lead them through rotations of exciting indoor and
outdoor activities. Our staff will have more information as enrollment is available. We welcome you
to join us for this week of fun.
Tag, You’re It! Teacher: H. Weil

Come and improve your strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and body awareness in this fun and $0.00
engaging tumbling class. Learn some basic tumbling skills like rolls, cartwheels, head stands, leaps
and turns and more. No experience needed!

This class will teach the rules and skills needed to play yard games and basic playground games $0.00
