The Parish Council serves as a St. Scholastica Catholic Church consultative body for the pastor. Through its monthly Activity Center meetings, the council coordinates the parish commis- sions, committees and activities. We typically meet one 8201 W. Outer Drive Detroit Tuesday evening per month. The Titan Equity Nourish Network at Detroit Mercy (formerly Campus Kitchen) is looking for volunteers to support their produce delivery program each Friday from 11:30 am - 3 pm through August 27th. Volunteers package fresh produce and dry goods on campus and deliver the bags to community members near the McNichols campus. Volunteers can help support with food packaging from 11:30 - 1 pm or with delivering from 1 pm - 3 pm. Many volunteers also help with both shifts. For delivering, a vehicle is re- quired but the distance is only a 1/2 mile from campus. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Grace Gamble at gamblegm@udmercy.edu or 216-396-5701.
