CALVARY OR LANDO MISSIONS
Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the
  name of the Father
and of the Son and of
 the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey
   everything I have
   commanded you.
 And surely I am with
you always, to the very
    end of the age.

Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
Dear Friend:

The most familiar scripture quotes the declaration of
Jesus, “For God so loved the world.” Around the world over
2.3 billion people join you and I in receiving this gift of love
through the acceptance of Jesus as our Savior. While this is
truly a remarkable number, there remain almost 4.7 billion
souls who have yet to confess Jesus as Lord. God’s love
compels us, and his Spirit empowers us to share the Good
News of Jesus so all may hear, from every tribe and every
nation.

Our church is blessed to have a very active role in spreading
the Gospel from our neighbors to the nations. Our
supported missionaries span across the globe, and our
short-term missions teams regularly travel far distances to
assist in Kingdom impact. Thousands of children will
receive a healthy meal today because of Calvary’s
faithfulness to God’s missions directive.

This book is designed to help familiarize you with the
missions activity of Calvary. Our missions endeavor is only
truly effective if we all do our part. My prayer for you is that
your heart would be open to God’s engagement plan for you
in missions. You will quickly discover the empowerment and
reward of God when you say yes to Him.

Thank you for your investment of time, talent, and treasure
in the great work of the Great Commission. God will richly
bless you as you demonstrate love to that which He loves!

In His Service,

Pastor Ed Garvin
Lead Pastor

MARCH 10-20
We will be coming alongside a local
church in the town of Plovdiv,
Bulgaria to help create a suitable
space for their ministry. BU
                                           LG
This trip is focused on practical help,
including painting and sourcing
materials to assist the ministry of
Pastor Ivan and his team. We will also
have ministry opportunities in prayer
and relationship building
beyond helping the church with their
practical needs.

Bulgaria is on the cooler side this time
of year, with temperatures typically in
the 40’s-50’s and mostly cloudy days.
The team will be staying in a local
hotel and going to the church each

attend over the weekend and plenty of
time for rest in between.

RO APRIL 3-13
While Rome may seem like an
     unusual location for a short-term
     missions trip, missionary Rick
Pasquale can tell you the stories of
the amazing things God is doing in
the heart of Italy and how you can

ME
help. You’ll have the opportunity to
listen to his heart at the Missions
     Banquet in February.

The first weekend of this trip
     includes an international Men’s
     Conference that Pasquale hosts
     annually. This opportunity is open
to men and women of all ages, and
     projects for those who aren’t
involved in the conference will be
     announced. Ministry will be the
primary focus, meaning we will be
     working with people more than
     doing physical work.

Rome starts to warm up in April,
     breaking mid-60’s during the day
     occasionally. The team will be
staying in a hotel for this trip.
