The Road Apple
Pope Valley Ropers and Riders Gallop into New
Season; Committee Sign-ups Still Needed
Committee Chairs and Volunteer Spaces
still remain to be filled for several activities
of the 2011 Ropers and Riders season. The
sign-up sheet will be available at the
March monthly meeting, and members are
urged to make sure to sign up for at least
one or more activities.
Vet Clinic Set for
March 27th
Dr. Sally Kimsey, DVM, with help from
clinic chair Shelia Rios, is again running
the PVRR annual vet clinic from 10 a.m.
to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 27th at the Pope
Valley Farm Center.
Participants will be offered discounted
equine vaccines, as well flea and tick meds
for both dogs and cats, with profits going
to the club, thanks to the generosity of
Sally Kimsey.
Dog and cat vaccines will be assessed at
ten dollars, and equine vaccines at twenty
dollars.
Pets brought to the clinic for treatment
must be leashed.
A rider gallops toward the finish line in an event at the
May, 2009, Pope Valley Ropers and Riders Gymkhana.
