What makes a true lifesaver? You. Our charity is looking
for committed people like you to join our Trustee Board.
It’s a unique opportunity for you to contribute to a
major lifesaving organisation both in the UK and Ireland,
and internationally.
You probably know that we’re a registered charity,
independent from government. The Trustee Board is at the
head of our charity governance structure. Our trustees are
all volunteers.
Join the Trustee Board and you’ll be helping our skilled
and brave lifeboat volunteers sustain a world-class search
and rescue service around the coast of the UK and Ireland.
You’ll be supporting our seasonal lifeguards and
preventing drowning by helping our water safety and
international teams.
If you are willing to contribute to our charity, the
rewards are huge. You’ll feel you’re making a difference.

and network with others who have a shared passion for

The RNLI today

RNLI volunteers have been keeping people safe for
196 years. Their courage and professionalism have
saved over 143,000 lives.
                                                              RNLI LIFEBOAT STATIONS
                                                              AND LIFEGUARD UNITS
Today we are busier than ever. In 2019, RNLI lifeboat crews   IN 2019

As Chair of the Investment Committee, you will lead the Committee in fulfilling its purpose to scrutinise and

What do you need for this role?

   business planning.
•	Knowledge of the investment marketplace and
