2021 VIRTUAL
ANCOP WALK
OUR INVITATION
Come, walk with us, at the 2021 virtual ANCOP WALK!!
On behalf of 5,000 poor children blessed to be ANCOP Canada Child Scholars in 192 partner sites in 14 developing
countries worldwide, we invite you to engage in this worthwhile cause of building a better future, and restoring hope
and dignity, for many poor children and families globally.
While the year 2020 has been a tough year for Canadian charity organizations, who had difficulty in raising funds,
we at ANCOP International Canada have been blessed to grow vs prior year, on the back of tireless ANCOP advocates
and generous Canadian donors, believing in our ANCOP work for the poor! We wish to continue to build on this,
as our ANCOP organization gains credibility and as Canadians gain a better understanding of its work.
In 2020, ANCOP Canada innovated with the launch of its first ever virtual ANCOP Walk, enabling us to celebrate the
ANCOP Walk for its 18th consecutive annual run. Building on this, we are pleased to announce our 2021 ANCOP Walk
will proceed, once again in a virtual format.
ANCOP International Canada, Inc. (ANCOP, an acronym for “Answering the Cry Of the Poor”) is a duly registered
Canadian charity focused on three pillars: child education sponsorship, community development and humanitarian
relief. ANCOP Canada is an international humanitarian organization with global ground operations in various countries
in Africa and Asia. As our global footprint continues to grow, we seek partners to extend help to a vast pool of
poor, underprivileged children all crying for support!
It is in this spirit of helping and sharing that we appeal to you to consider sponsoring the 2021 Virtual ANCOP Walk.
We will welcome any opportunity, starting with this sponsorship package, to explore with you how you can be an
equalizing force that helps alleviate poverty and a sense of helplessness among the less fortunate around us.
In appreciation of your support, we offer a range of sponsor benefits as described in this package.
We hope that we can count on your help to make the 2021 Virtual ANCOP Walk a success. The needs of poor
children, and the cries of the poor around the world, resonate and spur us to act! Thank you in advance for your
support!
Together we can change the world!
Sincerely,
Gabriel Consulta

We aim to restore the poor’s hope and dignity by organizing them into sustainable and self-reliant communities through livelihood assistance, values formation, and community empowerment. Our program delivery team is composed of a small number of full-time employees who mobilize generous and talented volunteers across Canada. The ANCOP Child Sponsorship Program (CSP), ANCOP’s premier program, is a one-to-one sponsor-to-scholar relationship providing for a total program benefit package that includes education, healthcare, and socio-cultural-spiritual enhancement for both sponsored children and their parents. The “Class of 1000” CSP Drive aims to bring 1000 new ANCOP scholars to school this year. ANCOP Canada has been blessed with a dedicated set of volunteers and supporters nationwide who help achieve the ANCOP mission of answering the cry of the poor. ANCOP Canada continued to increase its global partner reach in 2020, with consistent growth in our East Africa operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, complementing our established programs in the Philippines. We are poised for growth in other places in Asia, notably in India, as well as in West Africa with our growing base in Sierra Leone.
ANCOP Virtual Walk
The ANCOP Walk is ANCOP International Canada’s premier fundraising event, organized to raise
awareness, and solicit donations for its crucial programs designed to help
the poorest of the poor.
The 2021 Virtual ANCOP Walk happens over the course
of the summer across 20 locations in Canada.
This ANCOP event allows us to raise much-needed funds
for the poor, and have fun walking at the same time.
Donations from the events will go towards ANCOP's core
programs: Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) and
Community Development Program (CDP).
The 2021 ANCOP Walk theme is “Blessed to Give” – a recognition of the
drive of many Canadians who enjoy the comforts of life, to share their
blessings to those less fortunate.

We are our brothers' or sisters' keeper. As such we must be
sensitive to their needs and quick to respond
in a world constantly beset by typhoon of
poverty. It is our mandate as Christians to
help in the restoration of the dignity of our brothers
and sisters. Education is a great equalizer. Given the
opportunity for a quality education, a child from a
poor family would be able to make something of
himself orherself thus changing the future of the entire
family, even the neighbourhood. So I would encourage
