The new, revamped CEBIT kicks off on Monday, 11 June, with an action-packed, star-studded conference program.
The Expo in the exhibition halls opens on Tuesday. That’s right: the exhibition halls don‘t actually open to visitors
until the Tuesday, but there will be plenty happening on “Take-off Monday“ with a top-notch digitization-themed
program.

3:45 p.m. The German Broadband Initiative, which has been driving the expansion of Center (CC),
digital infrastructure in Germany for 16 years, will evaluate and discuss the Room 3a
German government’s new strategy for upgrading the country’s digital infra-
structure. The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure will be
presenting its measures for implementing the new strategy as part of its
dialogue with the business community and society generally.

”100 days into the new government – What’s happening with digitization?“ Center (CC),
All of Germany’s political parties are talking about digitization, but is enough Room 3b
actually being done? Why is Germany only in the middle of the pack in the
international digital rankings instead of in the lead, as one might expect of a
nation with its impressive economic credentials?
CIOs from IT user companies and digital policy experts from Germany’s political
parties will discuss the country’s current digital policy landscape and the fixes
and improvements that the CIOs see as being necessary in a range of areas,
including cyber security, expansion of digital infrastructure, and digital educa
tion.
