Who are the Red Devils?
The Red Devils are the official parachute display team for both the
Parachute Regiment ('The PARAS') and the British Army. One of the
World’s most famous parachute display teams, the Red Devils create
awe inspiring displays at up to 80 public events each year. By attracting
positive publicity through the media they support the Parachute
Regiment and the British Army’s recruiting campaign. Over the years
the Red Devils have also used this media exposure to benefit their
partnerships with select charities offering tandem skydive experiences
to aid them with their fund raising efforts.
The team is made up of serving soldiers from the Parachute Regiment's
three regular battalions: 1, 2 & 3 PARA.
Every member of the team has served a minimum of three years in a
Parachute Regiment Battalion and has taken part in at least one
operational tour of duty in either: Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Sierra
Leone, Iraq and/or Afghanistan.

What are the Restrictions for tandem skydiving?
Age – Skydiving carries a minimum age limit of 16 years. If you under 25 (or appear to look under
25) you will need to provide proof of ID/age.
Participants between the ages of 16 and 18 will need a parent or guardian to attend on the day; a

What level of insurance does my payment include?
All participants will be covered by British Parachute Association third party liability insurance which
is included in the cost of your jump. This does not cover you for injury to yourself, only for damage
you may cause during your jump (e.g. landing on farmer's crops). However, if you wish to take out
additional personal accident insurance, there are a number of one jump policies for example, Click

Can I jump for charity?
Of course you can! The Red Devils do have charity partners that have reserved places on some of the
dates, if you wish to jump for these charities do take a look at their pages on the Click and Jump

responsibility for your fundraising and the money collected. If you would like to use fundraising to pay Red Devil
towards your jump you will need to confirm with that charity that they are prepared to support this i.e.

Can I bring spectators?
You will probably wish to share your skydive experience with your family and friends. The Red Devils
welcome spectators. Children are welcome, but please do be aware that your skydive experience can
take all day (from arrival till dusk) and most centres do not have facilities in place for children -so make
sure you bring enough activities to keep them entertained - the novelty of watching parachutes soon
begins to wane. The parachute centres the Red Devils use have superb canteen facilities serving hot and
cold snacks and meals. You can bring a picnic to eat outside of the canteen areas. As a general rule dogs
are not allowed on Parachute Centres due to dangers of aircraft movements.
Guide dogs are permitted with prior warning.
If you are aged 16-18 you will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian - they will need to provide
